Crack Of Dawn

Summary:
Please take a look back on my bio.
There, stood at my door, had to be the hottest guy alive. He wore a blue short-sleeved t-shirt that fitted his muscles perfectly, baggy black jeans, a crooked smile playing beautifully on his face.
Bella Swan's father has just kicked her off to boarding school, where she meets her old friend and a completely new friend.

Notes:
Okay, so I've read a few fanfics that have Bella and Edward meeting differently and with different personalities so I though I'd give it a go.

Still angry I replied, “Ask your brother. Or that dude,” I said, pointing over to the bronze-haired guy. I knocked my arm out of his grip and walked round to Alice and whispered in her ear, “What do we do now?” She smiled and nodded.

“Everyone out!” she called out. I stared at her, shocked.

“Why?” asked bronze-haired boy.

“Because, Edward, Bella here has to unpack and I’m pretty sure she doesn’t want you seeing her lingerie,” replied Alice sharply.

“Fine,” muttered Edward. He hesitantly walked out after Rosalie and Emmett. He turned at the door.

“Goodbye,” said Alice. He ignored her and looked straight at me.

“I can help you pack if you want,” he offered. I smiled.

“Yeah, but, I’d rather do my own lingerie on my own, if you don’t mind,” I replied.

“He doesn’t mind. Goodbye, Edward,” said Alice, pushing him out the door. She turned around to me.

“He won’t be listening, will he?” I mouthed to her. She turned around, glaring at the door.

“He better not be listening,” she growled, loud enough for him to hear if he was on the other side, listening. She turned back to me, a huge smile on her face. “Turn up the music and let’s get unpacking!” she squealed.

I grab my iPhone and plugged into the stereo that was already there and on my random play list I played Blood Sugar by Pendulum, mainly because it was the one at the top.

We were half-dancing, half-unpacking my stuff. You should have seen half the faces Alice pulled at my songs! So very funny!

“I can’t figure you out Bella,” she told me, when were almost done listening to Duality by Slip Knot. “One minutes the music is loud and you can’t understand what they are singing, the next it’s slow and acoustic and then the next it is the most randomest song ever!” I laughed.

“That’s the perfect way to explain me!” Alice laughed. “Why don’t you pick a song then?” She pulled a face at my songs but finally chose Helicopter by Bloc Party. I raised an eyebrow at the choice of music.

“It fits the scene. This is a boring job–”

“Thanks,” I said, sarcastically. She smiled but continued speaking,

“–and we need to be excited and slightly high. Besides, this is so our song,” she finished. I smiled and we started to dance more than unpack.

We collapsed on the sofa, my head on one side, hers at the other.

“Nice feet,” she commented, smiling.

“You can talk.” I inhaled deeply and pulled a face. “Whoo! Smell-y!” Alice laughed with me before hitting me with a pillow. I hit her back and she floored me.

“Ha! You just got floored by a pixie!” she laughed.

“You caught me off guard! Now get the hell off me!” She laughed again but got off. I took the chance and grabbed her and pulled her to the floor.

“How did you not see that coming??” I laughed in her face.

“Ew! Take some tic-tacs!”

“What? Don’t you like?” I breathed in her face more.

“Gross!” she laughed and kicked me off her.

“Truce!” I screamed at her before she could hit me.

“Fine!” she said, shaking my hand angrily. I couldn’t help but laugh and neither could Alice.

“God,” she sighed, as we relaxing on the floor against the sofa. “School tomorrow.”

“Great!” I moaned, rolling my eyes.

“Best be getting to bed,” sighed Alice. She got up and offered her hand to me. I took it and as I got up I said, “Actually, I’m going to go for a walk. I’ll be back soon.”

“Take your phone, in case you get lost,” she joked, but still handed me my phone.

“Haha, Ms. Hilarious,” I muttered. “Later.” And I walked out our room.

I sat down next to a river. It was dark, but I could see without a torch. The sound of the river rushing by was calming.

I sighed when I heard a twig snapped. I hated it when people just stand there and stare.

“Are you just gonna stand there?” I asked, not moving to turn around.

“How did you know?” he asked. I recognized the voice immediately.

Edward’s!

Crap!

I froze.

I knew I had to speak, but I’d forgotten the question.

Uhm…

Erm…

Oh!

“I heard the twig snap,” I said as calmly, even and coolly as possible. He moved and sat down next to me.

“What you doing out here then?” I asked him.

“I like the sound of the river rushing and watching the moon and the stars. I know it sounds pretty lame. I like these late night walks.” I stared at him, shocked. He was staring back at me, shocking me further.

“What?” he asked.

“You think it’s lame?” I asked. I laughed and shook my head. “Honestly.” I turned to face him again and told him the one quote that helped me live my life. “Never regret anything that once made you happy. Besides–” I continued, looking up at the sky, “– I love these lame walks too.” I smiled.

A cold breeze blew past us and I shuddered.

“No jacket?” he asked, a little disappointed.

“I didn’t think I’d be out this long,” I said, shrugging. Next thing I knew, he was shrugging out of his denim jacket and slid it over me. I inhaled his scent and sighed.

It was amazing because it didn’t even smell like cologne.

“Wait, won’t you get cold?” I asked, turning to face him. His face was so close…

“Don’t worry about me,” he murmured in my face, blowing his scent all over my face.

“Then you don’t worry about me,” I murmured back. As much as I didn’t want to, I took his jacket off and put it around him.

“Okay. But I still have an idea too keep you warm too,” he said, slipping his arms into his jacket. “Trust me,” he whispered in my ear.

“Uh-huh,” I mumbled. He placed his arm around my shoulder and pulled me to the ground. Pretty much shocked by his movements, I lay frozen on his chest and quite happy.

Well I was content!

“Warm?” he asked.

“Ja,” I whispered. He laughed, the sound vibrated through me and I smiled. I closed my eyes, content by my surroundings and every other worry in the world disappeared.
