Crack Of Dawn

Summary:
Please take a look back on my bio.
There, stood at my door, had to be the hottest guy alive. He wore a blue short-sleeved t-shirt that fitted his muscles perfectly, baggy black jeans, a crooked smile playing beautifully on his face.

Notes:
Okay, so I've read a few fanfics that have Bella and Edward meeting differently and with different personalities so I though I'd give it a go.

3. Sleep Over

I woke to a strange vibration on my thigh.

No.

Not in that way.

How about, the pocket of my jeans?

Wait, why was someone calling me?

I rolled off my side, trying to get my phone out my pocket.

Then I saw his face.

Why the hell was this angel leaning over me?

I kept rolling, shocked and still trying to find my phone.

Then, there was no more bed to roll on.

I don’t think I could be anymore grateful for the angel leaning over me. If he wasn’t that close, he wouldn’t have been able to catch me.

And that’s when I noticed this wasn’t my room/sleeping quarters.

“What…” he cut me off when he moved closer to me.

“Phone,” he whispered into my ear as he put me down on someone’s bed in the room that I have nowhere is!!

I pulled my phone out of my pocket.

Alice.

“Hiya Alice,” I mumbled into the phone, half-tired.

“Don’t you hiya me!” she grumbled down the phone. That woke me up more. “School is about to start and you are nowhere in sight!”

“What?!?!” I half-screamed down the phone. “Uhm… Okay, I’ll make my way down to our room. Can you get my black jeans and black and neon pink t-shirt out please?” I asked.

“The one that says, ‘Mummy says I’m special?” she asked.

“Obviously,” I said, smiling.

“Sure. Hurry up though,” she rushed.

“On my way,” I mumbled as I put the phone down.

“Got to go?” Edward asked.

“You know it,” I mumbled as I got off the bed. I caught a glance of myself in the mirror. I groaned. “I look a mess,” I said as I tried to pull my fingers through a jungle I would have to call my hair.

He walked up behind me and murmured, “You look…” he stopped and I’m guessing said something differently than he was planning, “…fine,” he finished.

“Thanks,” I said, turning around to face him. He backed off a little, uncomfortable with how close I was.

“Do you have a hoodie I can borrow?” I asked, sheepishly.

“Sure,” he said with a beautiful crooked smile. He walked to his chest of drawers and pulled out a grey hoodie. I smiled hugely.

“Thank you so much. I owe you.” I took the hoodie from his arms and put it on. “How did I get here, asleep?” I asked. He continued to smile.

“You fell asleep outside and I brought you here because I didn’t have the keys to your sleeping quarters.”

“Thanks. I owe you two now. Oh, I’ll give you this back when I see you next,” I told him as I edged out of his room.

“Don’t worry about it,” he said, still smiling. I smiled, now sheepishly, at him.

“Any idea how to get to the South Corridor?” I asked. He smile became more amused.

“Just go down that corridor and you should find it from there,” he replied.

“Yeah, thanks.” I turned around back to him and gave him a quick kiss on the check before I hurried away.

* * *

I met Alice on my way to our room.

Well, actually, I kinda ran into Alice.

Literally.

“Alice?” I asked, grabbing her at the top of her shoulders. “What are you doing here?!?!”

“I came looking for you!” she exclaimed.

“What? Come on. Let’s just get back,” I mumbled, grabbing her hand and dragging her along.

She soon started walking and the questions started.

“Where the hell were you?” she demanded.

“I stayed over at a friends,” I mumbled, quickening my pace and hoping she would let it drop.

If I got my hopes up then, she just broke them down again.

“So, who was it? I thought you were new here,” demanded Alice.

“I met him yesterday,” I said, concentrating on getting to the sleeping quarters quicker.

“Whoa,” cried Alice as she jumped in front of the door, stopping me. “Him?”

Crap.

I really said him, didn’t I?

Damn it!

“Yes, him,” I said.

“Who him?” Alice demanded.

“Edward him,” I said, exasperated. I pushed Alice out the way and tried to open the door.

“Edward?” Alice asked, disbelievingly. “Edward.” Alice laughed. “Awr! You and Edward. Is that jacket Edward’s too?” I controlled my temper.

“Yes. Now, why is the door locked?” I asked.

“It isn’t,” Alice said, frowning. She tried the door. “Okay. Lemme try and find the key.” She searched her pockets. “Damn! I left inside. What about you? I’m sure you didn’t plan on sleeping over at Edward’s.”

“I was banking on you to let me back inside. Now what the hell are we gonna do?” I cried. Alice pulled out her phone.

“I know someone who will help.” Alice pressed one number, obviously someone on her speed dial.

“Hiya Jazz,” Alice said, her voice going all sweet. “Can you help me? … Not like that! I mean, I’m locked outside our dorm. Can you bring the key? … Okay. Thanks Hun. See you soon. Bye.” She hung up.

“Hun?” I questioned.

“He’s my little baby. Now hush and let’s talk about you and my brother.” I frowned.

“Brother? I though Emmett was your brother. Wait, beyond confused.”

“Emmett is my adopted brother and so is Edward!” Alice squealed. I felt my mouth hang open. I closed it, forcing myself to speak.

“What?” I cried.

“I know!” Alice squealed again.

I felt like I had gone into shock.

I probably had.

Oh boy.

Oh boy.

Is there no good God?
