Werewolf Love

What if Jacob ran away after being rejected by Bella and being threatened to have his jaw broken? Jacob wasn't there for the fight. He didn't know about Bella and Edward's engagement, and he definitely didn't know about Renesmee. It is a year after he ran off, and he has finally come back. But what does he find?

This story is going to end up switching from Bella and Jacob's POV. When I say he ran away after he got rejected by Bella, I mean after the first time he kissed her, aka assaulted her. Disclaimer: I do not own anything to do with twilight. I am not Stephenie Meyer, sadly. I just like wting twilight fanfic.=] Enjoy the story!

Jacob’s POV

I stared at the beautiful little girl that was now my imprint. I’d always thought I would only love Bella, who would’ve thought that I would imprint on her child? I guess it was good she married Edward after all.

“Beautiful baby,” I crooned to her. “Renesmee.”

Hmmm….Renesmee… What an odd name. Maybe there’s a way to shorten that… Renee? No, that’s Bella’s mom’s name. Esme? No, that’s a bloodsucker’s name. Ren? That doesn’t sound right. Ness? Yes! It’s perfect! I can just add “ie” to the end while she’s a baby.

Edward growled behind me. “How much more are you going to do to us today?? First you imprint on our daughter, and then you have to nickname her?!”

I turned around to face him. Bella was whispering in his ear, too low for me to hear it all. I only caught a few words; “he” and “name.” He whispered back to her, and they turned back to me and child in my arms. The Blonde rolled her eyes after they finished talking.

“Fine, you can call her whatever you want, just don’t expect us to,” Bella said reluctantly. I smiled and looked back down at Nessie. I could just imagine the scowl on Bella’s face after she said that.

I stayed there for hours, doing whatever I could for the beautiful little girl. Eventually Bella took Nessie out of my arms so she and Edward could have some time with her. I did not like it, but what could I do? They were her parents and who was I to deny them that time? I did not own her. For now I was just like an older brother to her and nothing more.

I was shocked when instead of just staying here; they ran out the back door, setting Nessie on her feet to run beside them.

“Where are they going?” I asked quickly.

The blonde leech answered simply, acting as if the fact was obvious. “Home.”

I pulled my eyebrows together in confusion. “Isn’t this their house?”

“They have their own house, mutt.”

Well she wasn’t going to be any help. I ran out the back door, following their scent until I came to a small cottage. It smelled strongly of bloodsuckers, but I could not mistake the fluttering heartbeat I heard inside.

I walked up to the door and knocked. I was still wondering why they even needed their own house when Edward opened the door.

“What do you want?”

Of course I want to see Nessie. Isn’t that obvious?

“Can you please let my daughter get some sleep? She doesn’t need to be with you 24/7 and she has to get up early to go to the airport tomorrow anyway!” he screeched. It was plainly obvious that he wasn’t keen to the idea of me not wanting to part with his daughter.

Bella showed up behind him and yelled under her breath. “Would you two stop?! Do you want to wake Renesmee?”

Both our faces softened after Bella spoke. Edward pulled her to him and kissed her forehead. “Sorry, love.” I rolled my eyes at the scene. Edward glared at me and spoke again, this time in a more reasonable tone as not to wake the sleeping child.

“As I said before, Jacob, you cannot be with her every single second; she needs her sleep and I for one don’t think you should be barging into our home at this time of night.”

I frowned. He was definitely not helping my situation. Why did she need to go to the airport in the morning anyway? Were they going on vacation or something?

“No, we are not going on vacation,” Edward answered my thoughts. “Bella and I are going to college in New Hampshire along with the rest of our family.”

What? No! I just met Nessie today and they’re all ready taking her away? I could go couldn’t I? There is no way I’m being parted from her now.

Edward groaned. “We’ll see,” he said. Then he turned around and closed the door behind him.

I didn’t care what he said. I was going.

I took my shorts off and tied them to my ankle before phasing as I ran towards La Push. This time I should probably tell the pack that I’m leaving.

I heard the voices of my brothers in my head as I ran.

You’re leaving all ready? Why? I heard Seth complain.

Because I’m not going to let them take my imprint away for four years. I replied.

Jake! You are not leaving this pack to follow those parasites! Sam tried to use his alpha voice to get me to stop.

It didn’t do any good though; nothing was going to separate me from Nessie.

Go Jake! The voices of Seth, Quil, and Embry say in unison.

Eventually all of us were able to meet in the forest. I noticed that there were now 16 wolves. How much bigger could this pack get?

What do you think? A bunch of extra leeches came around and now we have a bigger pack. Leah said sarcastically in her head.

Why didn’t I notice that while I was a wolf for so long? I should’ve been able to hear more wolves. Then again, I did try to block their thoughts from my head anytime they tried to ask questions, which seemed to be every time they phased. I felt really stupid at the moment for having missed such a big thing. But that wasn’t the point right now. I had to leave tomorrow morning with Nessie and the other bloodsuckers.

No! Don’t change the subject! I like hearing you admit how stupid you are! Leah pleaded.

I rolled my eyes. My stupidity was not a subject I wanted to talk about right now. If I let this go on, I could very well be here all night with her insulting me.

But there’s so much! I need to be heard! Leah remarked.

Stop it Leah! Sam yelled at her through his thoughts before turning his giant furry head back to look at me. Jacob, you cannot go off with those leeches. You have responsibilities here and I forbid you to leave again.

I loud growl rumbled through my chest as I approached him to stare him straight in the eyes. No! I will leave this pack again if it means I can be with my imprint and you have nothing to say about it! I screamed in my head. How would you feel if someone told you that you couldn’t be with Emily?

That’s different! She is human! She is not surrounded by a huge coven of vampires. Your imprint is. We need to discuss this with the elders first. Something like this has never happened before. I had no idea earlier what this entailed when I let you have your way. The bottom line is, you are not going to separate from this pack to go with away with a bunch of leeches!

Yes I am. I turned around and stalked off, not bothering to phase as I ran back towards the Cullens’ home.

I heard many footsteps following and soon saw the back of me as I ran. Then they started to speak.

We’re coming with you Jake.

I stopped in my tracks. When had I said anyone could come with me to New Hampshire?

You didn’t. But we will not go with Sam.

I turned around and saw fifteen wolves all following me, even Leah.

I’m just here for Seth. There’s no way I’m letting him go cross country alone. She informed me.

I’m not here to lead a pack. I just wanna be with Nessie.

We know. But we’re still going with you. We’ve had enough of Sam. You’re the rightful alpha anyway. Quil thought. He was probably the one who understood me the most right now, what with him having imprinted on Claire.

I didn’t really want a pack, but they were very insistent. Maybe I could be an alpha… I was meant to be one after all… Ok. I’m going to be an alpha!

Everyone but Leah rejoiced. I could see she wasn’t very happy about this arrangement at all.

Once everybody calmed down, I asked a question. Anybody got some cash? I don’t think you want to live like I’ve been. I smiled inwardly as we all ran back home until the early morning, searching every inch of our houses to get every penny we could.
