What if Jacob ran away after being rejected by Bella and being threatened to have his jaw broken? Jacob wasn't there for the fight. He didn't know about Bella and Edward's engagement, and he definitely didn't know about Renesmee. It is a year after he ran off, and he has finally come back. But what does he find?
This story is going to end up switching from Bella and Jacob's POV. When I say he ran away after he got rejected by Bella, I mean after the first time he kissed her, aka assaulted her. Disclaimer: I do not own anything to do with twilight. I am not Stephenie Meyer, sadly. I just like wting twilight fanfic.=] Enjoy the story!

After the excruciatingly long drive, not that it wasn’t fun to drive that Ferrari, Edward’s Volvo pulled up to a quaint little house that was secluded, but not very far away from everyone else. I followed him confusedly; how were all of us supposed to fit in that tiny house?
The other cars pulled up behind me in the small space, barely being able to fit in the small space allowed in front of the home. Everyone got out. Many had to squeeze through tight openings trying to dent or scratch the surrounding cars.
There was a small lawn out front, with a little cement pathway up to the door. All it needed was a white picket fence to look like a house from a children’s storybook. I imagined it wouldn’t stay that way for long though, considering what I had been told about Mama Vamp’s love of renovation.
Bella, holding Nessie’s little hand as she walked, and Edward walked up to the door and unlocked it. They ushered everyone to come in. The dumbstruck expressions on everyone’s faces showed that I was not the only one who knew we couldn’t all fit. We tried anyway. We squeezed into the packed little room and somehow were able be quiet through the discomfort.
Edward called the people to attention from an elevated step that allowed him to be seen even above the pack’s heads.
“Before anyone asks, we are not all going to be living in this small little house. There are a few others. And, though the rest of our family will be crowded, we will be giving the larger house to the pack. If they will follow me, I can show them where that house is.”
He got down from the step and pushed through us to the front door. The sixteen of us filed out the door, some having to duck to get through. Edward picked up the pace and we followed diligently. After a few minutes, he came to a much larger house than the previous one.
“You are all lucky that we had one extra house. We were going to use this for the main and just have Bella, Renesmee, and I live in the small one just like we did with our cottage. We found another one for the rest of our family at the last minute. Good luck with the house, it’s your responsibility. I’ll leave you to it.” He ran off back to his house, leaving us there is front of this gigantic house.
I hadn’t been given a key, nor had anybody else, so I went up to the porch to look around for one. I found one for me as well as one for everybody else in a little bowl by the door.
“Found ‘em!” I called out. They ran to grab theirs as I put mine in the slot. The door opened into a giant room, already furnished with many couches, a TV, and even some video games. I found a kitchen down the hall, as well as a couple bedrooms. I saw Seth scramble upstairs out of the corner of my eye. There must be more up there.
I went up after him, only to find a long hall full of doors. There must have been at least ten. Probably more. A lot more. I went down one side opening as Seth went down the other. I found seven rooms and a bathroom, and Seth found the same.
“Everybody come pick their room!” I yelled down the stairs. “There’s one for everybody!”
Many bounding footsteps echoed through the house. Doors slammed, knobs turned, conformations were called out, and soon there were none left in the top hall. Since there was nothing more up here, I went downstairs to where I originally found the other bedrooms. Seth followed me down, having been too shocked to grab a room before they were all taken.
“There’re more over here.” I pointed towards the two doors.
I took the one on the left, opening it up to find a basic, yet luxurious room. There was a bed right in the middle, luckily a queen, covered with blue silk sheets. Beside it sat a wood desk with one of those fun swivel chairs pushed in under it. There was a dresser in the corner, and a nightstand by the bed with an old time lamp on it. Of course there was also the basic necessities, tissues, pencils, paper, pens, extra sheets in the closet, things like that.
Unfortunately, none of us had remembered to actually bring our stuff with us. We packed lightly, but it would still be a lot to carry for one person to just go get them all. I figured the others would realize that soon enough, so I went out the door first. I followed the fresh scent back to the little house and walked straight in. It seemed a lot emptier, this time only holding two parents and their child.
“Thanks. We owe you one,” I remarked quietly.
Nessie looked up having heard my voice and came running over to me. I scooped her up swung her around. She giggled endlessly, never seeming to want to stop. I was going to get dizzy though.
I saw Bella eyeing me as she whispered to Edward. His eyes widened as he took in something she had said. I saw his lips move and the expression on his face was one of question. She nodded and he sighed, possibly giving up to what I did not know. Bella smiled.
“Would you like to take care of her?” she asked. I could see why Edward was shocked. Why would they need me to? Couldn’t they? Was something wrong?
She saw my face and settled my qualms as she spoke again. “We do have school to attend, Jacob. You’d have to take care of her during the evening. We can’t take her to school with us.”
Oh. Right. I felt really stupid now. The answer had been so obvious! “Ok, I’ll do it,” I replied. Nessie heard too because she immediately started cheering. Who knew she could learn to like me so fast?
“We don’t have any classes for a few days,” Edward interjected. “So, Renesmee will be staying with us at night for the time being.”
I was disappointed, but hey, what were a few days? I could do it. Of course, how was I going to contain my sanity living in a house with fifteen other people?
