"Where are we going?" I asked Edward yet again.
"Sweetheart, for the thousandth time, I'm not telling you," he chuckled, glancing at my disappointed face before turning back to the road.
"Please?" I pleaded, staring at him with an innocent look that I knew he couldn't resist.
"Bella," he groaned. "I'll give you one hint. One."
"Yay!" I squealed, bouncing in the passenger seat.
"You're going to love it," was all he said. I stopped my celebration and glared at him. He had a satisfied smirk on his face.
"That was not your hint."
"Yes, it was," he said simply, keeping his eye on the road.
He broke out into a smile. "Yep, I agreed one hint, and that's technically a hint. You'll love it."
"That's not fair," I grumbled. I crossed my arms over my chest and sank low in my seat.
"But I love you," he said, turning to me and giving me that heart-stopping grin.
"Again, not fair," I muttered.
We sat in comfortable silence until Edward reached the highway that lead to Olympia. I couldn't take it anymore, so I took a different approach.
"What are we going to do once we get there?" I asked in what I hope was a seductive voice. Apparently it worked, because Edward looked at me, grinning.
"Honestly?" I nodded. "You'll probably fall asleep the second your gorgeous head hits the pillow," he chuckled.
"Why?" I frowned.
"We won't arrive until ten thirty at the earliest, and you've had quite the day, my love," he said softly, stealing a quick glance at me.
"Really?" I pouted, not bothering to hide the disappointment in my voice. Your wedding night was supposed to be the best night of your life.
"Maybe if you take a nap, you'll feel up to it," he said in his velvety voice he rarely used unless he wanted something. And boy did I want that something too. Although, maybe he wanted me to sleep so that I would stop asking questions. Huh. Oh well, I am kind of tired.
"I think I will." And with that, I laid my head down against the window, but I had a hard time getting comfortable.
Edward reached behind my seat and tossed me a sweatshirt. "Here, lay on this," he said.
I raised an eyebrow at him. "You keep random sweatshirts in your freakishly clean car?"
He let out a loud laugh. "It's not freakishly clean, sweetheart," he defended, but quickly added, "And that sweatshirt is only in here because I was wearing it when Jack and I left for my parents house, but Jack got cold so I gave it to him as a blanket. He left it in the car."
It was my turn to laugh. "Remind me to get you checked for OCD when we get back," I teased as I laid my head down on the sweatshirt. It smelled like Edward and my baby boy. I knew I would have no trouble falling asleep.
"Isn't pregnancy supposed to make you tired," Edward muttered. I giggled as my eyes closed. I felt Edward place his hand on my stomach and smiled as I drifted to sleep.
"Bella, wake up. We're at the airport," a soothing voice whispered in my ear. I groaned and tried to fall back to sleep.
"Sweetheart, we have a flight to catch. Wake up, please, or I'll be forced to carry you," that voice rang out again.
"Mmm, you can carry me anywhere," I said, still half asleep. I felt a goofy grin appear on my face at the thought of Edward carrying me to our bed, with no intentions of sleeping.
"Okay, but there are a ton of people in an airport. It's up to you if you want them to see me carrying you around while you're sleep talking."
My eyes shot open, only to meet that playful smirk I knew all too well. "Not fair," I mumbled, wiping my eyes.
"You seem to think a lot of things aren't fair these days, my love," he chuckled. Edward got out of the Volvo and came around to open my door for me. I took his hand and got out.
"But that wasn't very nice. Threatening me to wake up by telling me that strangers would hear me talking in my sleep," I grumbled.
He laughed and wrapped me in his arms. "I love you, my sweet wife." He gazed into my eyes before kissing me softly.
"I love you too, my sexy husband." I pecked his lips and smiled before grabbing suitcases out of the trunk of the car.
We got our luggage checked in, and made it through security before finding our gate.
"Edward, you know I'm going to see the board that tells us where we're going," I blurted out before I could think about it. Damn, I might have gotten away with it!
"No, you won't," he said. An evil-like smirk came over his face and I cringed internally. He reached into his back pocket and pulled out a black blindfold.
"Oh, no you don't!" I warned, backing away from my beautiful husband slowly.
"Oh, yes, I do," he said in a low voice. I started moving faster, but he was too fast for me. He caught me around the waist.
"Now, Isabella, you will be a good girl. If you are, you get your suprise earlier," he said seductively, wiggling his eyebrows.
"You know I hate suprises," I said, a little breathless.
"I'm sure you'll love this suprise." He bent down to kiss me, and I forgot everything. This kiss was full of passion, and made me dizzy.
So I didn't really notice when he slid the blindfold on. That is, until he broke the kiss.
"Edward!" I pouted. I felt him lean down to kiss my bottom lip, smiling against my mouth. "You know I'm clumsy! Imagine me when I can't see!"
"Well, it's a good thing all we're going to do is sit on a bench for the next thirty minutes," he said smugly. "And you should know by now that I won't let anything happen to you, ever."
It ended up taking forty five minutes before we could board the plane. Edward practically dragged me onto it. Once we were seated, I pulled the blindfold off and looked around.
"Edward you didn't!" I hissed.
"Bella, it's our honeymoon. I will spoil you," he replied calmly.
"First class?! That's way over the top!" I complained.
"Bella. Get over it."
"Fine, sit there and pout."
So I did.
Until Edward started teasing my thighs with his incredible fingers.
"Edward, stop!" I whispered. "We are surrounded by people on a plane! I'll accept the seats but only if you stop this!"
He chuckled. "Bella, it's a little late to reject the seats, but I'll stop...until we get to the hotel room. I can't make any promises on how I'll act once we're alone." His eyes were smoldering with lust.
I took his face in my hands and kissed him softly. Of course, he deepened the kiss, but I managed to pull away before we got carried away.
"I love you," I whispered, resting my forehead against his.
"I love you," he whispered back, pecking my lips once more before pulling me into his lap. "And I love you too, baby," he cooed, resting a hand on my stomach. I put my head on his shoulder as his arms wrapped around me. I fell asleep not five minutes later.
A pair of soft lips worked their way up my neck and back down again. I moaned and tilted my head to give Edward better access.
"Isabella," he whispered against my flesh. "You have to go into your own seat and buckle up, we're about to land."
I groaned this time, but slid back into my seat anyways. Edward took my hand and smiled at me as we started descending.
It took about fifteen minutes to get to our hotel after we gathered out belongings.
I gasped as it came into view. "Edward, you're taking me to Disneyland?" I asked, super excited now. I've always wanted to go, but never got the chance. I was hoping to bring Lucy, Jack, and now the new baby once they were old enough.
"You said something about going in your sleep one night, and I thought it would make you more comfortable than some fancy resort on a private island." He smiled at me, pulling into the parking ramp. "But I can't promise the room isn't fancy. It's the best in the hotel," he added.
I sighed dramatically. "Alright, I'll try and enjoy it."
"I'm going to go check in and get a cart for our things, you stay in the car okay? I don't want you getting kidnapped," Edward said. I nodded and kissed him briefly. "I love you Mrs. Cullen," he grinned, and headed towards the doors to the magnificant hotel.
I turned the key so that I could listen to music.
I can't believe he brought me to Disneyland for our honeymoon. He was so sweet. He could have planned something extravagent, something way too pricey, but he took me to a place that was expensive, sure, but it was actually someplace that I had always dreamed of going. Who doesn't want to go to Disneyland? It's such a magical place. You can act like a ten year old and get away with it.
I wonder what he has planned for us to do. I've always wanted to see Sleeping Beauty's Castle...
My thoughts were interrupted when there was a tap on my window. I jumped in my seat, only to find Edward grinning at me. I shut the car off, took the keys, and got out.
"I'm sorry for scaring you," he chuckled, not very sorry at all.
"Yeah, sure you are," I teased, letting him know I wasn't mad at him.
We loaded everything onto the cart. Edward only had one suitcase, but I had two big ones and a little one. Alice demanded to pack for me, and when I saw the three suitcases, I nearly let her have it. She just simply said, "You have options on what you want to wear now."
I held the door open for Edward so he could push the cart through. I let out a small gasp when I saw the hotel lobby.
It was huge. The walls were covered in stained wood, giving it a cabin-like feel. There was one long countertop where you check in. The ceiling was very tall, and the hallway was really long. It was beautiful. There's a giant stone fireplace on the end of one wall, with leather chairs surrounding it. The lobby was decorated with various types of plants, big and small. There was even a baby grand piano in the corner.
Edward led me to the elevators. I saw the number keep rising, and I was wondering when it was going to stop. Dang Edward, he probably got the most expensive room known to mankind.
So you could see how I would be suprised when the elevator stopped on the 6th floor, and Edward started getting out.
"You even let us stay on a normal floor?" I asked.
His response was to laugh. "Love, this is the highest floor in the hotel. Instead of it being tall, it's wide. And I told you that our room was the best in the whole place, so it wouldn't be on the 6th floor at any other hotel." He winked at me before walking down the hallway.
He stopped at room 703 and pulled a keycard out of his back pocket. Mmm, his tush looks great in those jeans. I'll have to ask Alice where she bought them.
Someone coughed. My head snapped up to see Edward flashing me his signature smirk. He'd caught me ogling him. I blushed a deep shade of red and brushed past him into our home for the next seven days.
It was huge. We're talking mansion worthy huge. It was like a house, complete with a master bedroom, bathroom (with a Jacuzzi tub), kitchen, living area, and balcony overlooking all of Disneyland. I could see the fireworks in the sky, ending the night at the park.
I felt a pair of familiar arms wrap around my waist, and very familiar lips kiss my neck.
"Aren't they beautiful?" I murmered, leaning back against him.
"They are, but not as beautiful as you, my love," he whispered, pressing his cheek against the side of my neck.
I turned my head to kiss him. "This room is spectacular, thank you."
"No arguements?" He look slightly suprised.
"Well, I decided that just this once, I'd let you get away with the spoiling, but only if you enjoy it as much as I do," I smiled at him.
Edward gave me that crooked grin of his. "Anywhere you are, I'll enjoy this very much."
I kissed him before going into the bedroom. I opened the first suitcase of mine hesitantly, afraid of what might lay underneath.
I saw a bunch of revealing clothes and bikinis that barely covered my breasts. There was not a piece of comfortable clothing in here.
Frusterated, I moved on to the smaller one. Nothing but a lot of lingerie.
"Ugh!" I half yelled.
"What's wrong, honey?" Edward asked, concern coloring his voice as he came into the room.
"Alice packed me no normal clothing," I sighed.
"Well guess what?" He walked over to his suitcase. "I may have slipped some of your comfortable clothing into my suitcase," he said nonchalantly, flipping the cover off.
There, in his suitcase along with his clothes, were my sweatpants, t-shirts, and jeans. And real shoes.
I love this man.
I jumped into his arms, my legs going around his waist as my arms wound around his neck. "I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you!" I chanted over and over. He laughed and spun me around.
"I love you too," he said, before kissing me deeply. I was breathless when he pulled away.
"I'll leave you to change." He set me down and shut the door behind him.
That tease. Who does he think he is to kiss me like that, then just leave? This was our honeymoon for God's sake! We were supposed to be going at it every chance we got!
I quickly changed into my most comfortable sweats and one of Edward's old baseball t-shirts. I threw my hair up into a ponytail and went in search of my dear husband. I was going to tease him right back.
I found him in a chair in the livingroom, reading a book. I went over to him and took the book from his hands. I tossed it on the carpet and climbed into his lap. I wrapped my arms around his neck and laid my legs across his lap.
"What are you reading?" I asked with an innocent expression.
"Well, I was reading a medical journal for school before you threw it on the floor." He smiled, letting me know he was joking.
"I'm sorry, I just thought you would like to spend some time with me instead," I said in a flirty voice. I wiggled against his lap and felt him respond.
He groaned before saying, "Oh, I would very much like to spend some quality time with my lovely wife, but let me finish the chapter I'm on."
"Okay," I shrugged. I knew he would give pretty soon, long before he got the chance to finish his chapter. "I'll just go to our room." I hopped off of his lap and kissed his cheek.
"Are you tired?" he asked. I shrugged again and turned. "Get some sleep, then."
I smirked. "Did I say I wanted to sleep in the bedroom?"
He was off that chair faster than you can say "go".
