Brody kissed Bella's neck as she laid in his arms under the sheets on the bed. They'd had a long night and morning and afternoon. Living in Vegas has made Bella almost nocturnal, like the rest of the city. Brody continued to kiss her, rolling on top of her and caressing her hips.

"Brody, stop." Bella said with disappointment. But he didn't, he continued to kiss her on her chest working his way down.

"Baby, why?" He complained as he licked her belly button making her giggled with encouraged him more.

Bella reached over to the night stand for her phone. She had 2 missed calls and 8 unread text messages, she cleared the alerts to see the time. 3:30pm! Bella's eyes almost popped out of her head. She pulled away from Brody, got off the bed and stood there trying to figure out what she need to do. Bella didn't realize it at the time but Brody was staring at her.

"Mmm." He groaned. "Baby, I want you. I need you." Brody begged desperately.

"You've had me for the last 12 hours! Now, you've got to go, and I've got to get ready." She ordered. Alice and Edward would be coming in only 2 hours. This made Bella panic. The apartment was a mess, and so was she.

"Ready for what?" Brody asked.

"I have friends coming over in a few hours." Bella said.

"Why can't I stay?" Brody asked clueless.

"Cause they're not bring booze." Bella snapped. Brody sighed and stood up and intertwined his fingers with Bella's. He started again, kissing her and grinding his naked self into her. "Brody, stop. I've gotta take a shower." She whined.

"Mmm, I can help you do that." Brody said in a seductive tone.

"Fine." Bella couldn't help but grin. "But you have to leave right after.

"We'll see." Brody whispered in Bella's ear. Bella rolled her eyes and pulled him along into the bathroom.

"So what costume are you going to be wearing tonight?" Brody asked, as Bella walked him to the door. Brody came to almost every one of Bella's shows. He almost always left with one of the strippers. Last night it happen to be Bella. He had a lot of money. Brody's dad was a professor at an ivy league college, but when he died he left everything to Brody. Brody sold everything of his fathers and bought a huge apartment right in the heart of Las Vegas.

"Probably the red one." Bella answered.

"Oh, I like that one." He grinned.

"Okay. I promise to wear it if you go!" Bella pushed him out the door, but not before Brody gave her a long toe-curling kiss. Bella shut the door behind her and looked at the mess of a house she hand on her hands. Kyle was out with Pete so she had the house to herself for the evening.

Once the house was a clean as could possible, she went to change out of her sweat pants.

"Oh, what to wear?" Bella muttered to herself as she rummaged through her closet. Bella decided on short jean shorts, barely covering her butt and a purple v-neck t-shirt that showed her cleavage. To most people her outfit would be consited sluty, but to Bella, this is all she owned. Bella lined her eyes with black liner and she applied foundation and blush, she lined and glossed her lips. She checked her phone-5:27. Alice and Edward be there soon.

Bella clasped down on the couch. The fact that this was going to be weird and awkward just hit Bella. She groaned. What will they think of me? I pray to God they don't find out about me being a stripper, or the drugs, or the constant sex. Bella thought. Oh, and Edward. I love him. I will always love him. He doesn't love me. But he's still a good guy. He just saved my life. Could I be friends with him? Was it possible with the life style I lived now? I guess it could be if I could hide it all from him. Bella kept rambling in her thoughts until she her the door bell ring.

"Gah." She said and hoped up from the couch. Bella stood at the mirror by the door and made sure she looked good. She thought of how Edward has probably never seen so much skin of Bella, so just to show him what he gave up has pulled down her shirt a bit more. Bella took a deep breath and opened the door.

Alice stood with a smile on her face. She looked just the same as ever.

This is different of Bella. Alice thought. She's became a lot more womanly in the last year, the Bella from Forks would have never shown this much of her body. Little did Alice know that Bella showed almost her whole body to a crowd of strange men every night.

Edward's thoughts were similar to Alice's. God, she's changed. She's so sexy. She's always been but she's never made it to noticeable. But this isn't my Bella. Look at all the make-up on her. She doesn't need it. Strippers, prostitutes and whores wore that type of make-up. Bella wasn't any of those.

"Hey." Bella greeted in a unsteady voice.

"Hello, Bella." Alice returned, pulling her into a hug.

"Come in" Bella said stepping out of the way. "Hello Edward." Bella grinned and Edward returned.

"Wow, awesome living room!" Alice complimented as she sat down in the pink leather chair. Which only left the love seat open. Edward took a seat and Bella did also. Which made them both feel awkward. "I'm guessing you didn't design it?"

Bella chuckled "Yeah, I didn't. My roommate did. Like I said, he's gay. Very gay."

Alice laughed and Bella pulled a frame off the side table and passed it to Alice. It was of Bella in a bikini laying on the beach with Kyle right beside her. In the picture his hair was an electric pink and he had a Hello Kitty necklace. Alice laughed again.

"How'd you met him?" She asked.

"Oh, uhm just from around." Bella didn't want to admit she met him at a strip club, where she danced. Thank God, Edward can't read her mine. Bella ran her hand through her hair and took a deep breath. "Thank you guys, so much for being there last night." She grinned at Alice "Thank you for saving me." Bella said to Edward. Their eyes locked, Edward's topaz eyes still made Bella melt. Edward could see the sadness in Bella's eyes, it made him sad, depressed even.

Before Edward could reply, Alice asked one of the questions Bella didn't want to answer. "What were you doing there anyway?"

"Just hanging out, really." Bella admitted. But she refused to admit that Max was trading her drugs for sex.

"It's not safe at parties like that Bella." Edward said. It shocked Bella a bit that Edward would say that. After no communication for a year he wants to tell her what's not safe?

Bella didn't really know what to say, so she said something she's regret moments later. "I knew a lot of people there. I go to parties like that all the time."

"Oh. Maybe you shouldn't leave with guys like that. We might not always be around." Alice suggested.

"Yeah, I know, you're right. I just-just stupid that's all." Bella shook her head.

"What are you doing here in Vegas, anyway?" Edward asked.

"Well I was going to college, but that didn't really work out, so I moved in with Kyle." Bella admitted the innocent.

"You're really smart, Bella. I don't know how didn't work out." Alice insisted.

"Well, I don't know. I'm not as smart as I seem to be." Bella said, no one said anything so Bella changed direction of the question. "What are you guys doing here anyway? I know it wasn't just to save me." Bella asked.

"Well Carlisle is helping out at the hospital in Carson City, and Emmett's Birthday is soon, and he really likes the city." Alice said.

"How is everyone?" Bella asked.

"Good, finally together again. Some of us went our own ways for a bit." She eyed Edward.

The rest of the evening was filled with small talk and everything irrelevant. Bella heard about them staying in Italy was the Volturi family for a bit. Bella told them how Charlie and her family was doing. She also, told them a lot of things She's done since she's been there, she kept out all of the dirty details.

Edward didn't say much the rest of the evening. But that changed before they left.

"Edward we'd better be going." Alice said.

"Why don't you go out to the car, I'll be out in a moment." Edward suggested, which surprised Bella. And made her nervous, it meant Edward had something on his mind he had to share- something he maybe didn't approve of...her thoughts trailed off. Once Alice and Bella said their goodbyes and made plans to hang out again, Edward spoke his mind.

He turned to her on the love seat and locked his eyes on hers. "Bella," he spoke, "I have to talking to you about somethings. I just, I own you that much. Can I take you out tomorrow evening? I really need to speak with you. "

"Yes, Edward of course. Where are we going?" Bella asked.

"I don't know yet, but it's just important, what I have to tell you." He said in a rush. I walked him to the door. "It was nice to see you again, Bella."

"You too. I've-I've missed you, Edward." Bella admitted, and in that moment Edward's eyes melted. Bella saw something rushing through him- an emotion.

"Keep yourself safe, Bella." He said as he stepped out of the doorway.
Bella grinned at him, even know he was walking away.

Bella sighed as she lay down on her bed. She had lots of emotions and thoughts running through her mind. What's this mean now? Are Edward and I-- friends? Weird, we've never really been friends. When we first met, we didn't like each other, but then we feel in love before we had the chance to be friends. Maybe, and just a little part of Bella thought so, maybe we could be more then friends, maybe it could be like it was. I love him, he loved me. No, Edward doesn't love, he doesn't want me like that.

Bella started to wonder what Edward would think of her new life style. I remember I told him he was the first guy I'd ever really been with. I wonder if I could make he jealous...No! Of course not, Edward's not some immature human, but like he said himself- he is man. Could I make him jealous? With Brody? Brody, the complete opposite of Edward. Brody's about the same height, but he's very muscular and with long brown hair. And he's about 10 years old then Edward, well physical appearance.

Bella decided that she'd do her best to make Edward jealous with Brody. Probably wasn't the most wise decision...

To get started she'd spend a lot more time with Brody. She'd get him to stay after work, again. Work! That reminded Bella. She got dressed in her costume, grabbed her purse and left. She lived right in the middle of the city, so taxis were all around.

Bella arrived into work just as always and when it was her turn to dance from the minute she got on stage she searched for Brody. There he is, of course. Bella thought. This time it didn't cost him anything for a lap dance. This time she really put her all into it. Did the most she could to turn Brody on. Bella's shift was over at midnight. Once again Brody went home with her and stay all night.

"I'm hungry." Brody stated as they laid in bed.

Bella giggled "What do yo want me to do about that?"

"Make me breakfast," He flirted "naked."

Bella laughed

"Please, Kyle's not even here." He begged

"Fine." Bella smirked. She stood up and pulled Brody along. "You have to come along, naked." She stuck here tongue out at him, and he kissed her.

"It's only 10am." Brody said as he was eating his breakfast. "What should be do today?" Brody said with a mouth full of pancakes.

"Well I am going out with a friend tonight." Bella said

"What kind of friend?" Brody ask in a seductive tone

"Just a friend. An old friend." She said.

"Can I meet her?" Brody asked.

"No, and it's not a her." Bella corrected

"Oh. Are you cheating on me?!" He said sarcastically

"Shut up." Bella said

"Bite me." Brody said "Please." He licked his lips.

"I have to get dressed." Bella said walking out of the kitchen.

"You should let me take you out shopping. Buy you a new outfit for your 'Friend' "

"Thanks Brody, but I can wear something I have, but you can help me pick it out."

"Fine. But I'd really like to take you out shopping." He winked at Bella.

"Maybe another time."

The rest of the day Bella and Brody hang out around the house. Brody was a lot of fun, Bella had forgot how much she really liked him. He was fun, and sweet and generous. Bella probably fall in love with him if he wasn't such a man whore.

Brody helped Bella pick out an outfit for the night. He said she have sexy legs so she picked out a mini denim skirt. Brody picked out a black strapless top for her.

Edward would be arriving any moment and Brody still haven't left. Bella was trying to force him out of her bedroom. "C' mon Brody, you have to go." Bella wanted to make Edward jealous, but she didn't want to seem like a slut. "Brody!" Bella shouted in frustration.

"Okay, I'm going." Brody said. Bella walked him to the door and gave him a long kiss.

"Go!" Bella shouted with a grin.

"Okay, I'm going." Brody said as he slipped out the door.

Bella sat down in a near by chair and closed her eyes. It seemed like 10 seconds since Brody left, the door bell rang.

Edward. Bella thought.

"Hello Bella." Edward greeted with a solemn tone.

"Hi Edward." Bella grinned trying to hide everything and make it seem like nothing ever happened.

"Are you ready to go?" He asked.

"Yeah." Bella said. She shut front door and followed Edward to his Volvo. Edward always a gentlemen opened the door for Bella. "So where are we going?" Bella asked once Edward started driving.

"You'll see." Edward said grinning.

"I didn't really get to talk to you much last night. How are you?" Bella asked

"Okay, I guess." He responded. "What about you?"

"Same." Bella said. The ride to the destination wasn't long, their conversation was mostly small talk. Irrelevant subjects. Bella knew Edward wouldn't speak his mind until they'd reached there destination. Bella was nervous and found herself fidgeting more then acceptable for a human. The ride seemed like an eternity to Bella. rather than 5 minutes.

"This is it." Edward spoke quietly, as if they had to whisper. Bella couldn't see much through the darkness, but she could tell they were at a park. she'd seen this park a million times before. Bella had never thought to go, let alone at night. Edward opened the door for Bella. They warm breeze felt nice clammily blowing through her hair. "I thought this was a nice place. We can be alone, and talk." He grinned. There was a path way surrounded by trees on each side. Bella's heals weren't the best shoes for walking. She grimaced to herself. They started on the path through the trees. No physical contact.

An old habit took over Edward, he reached for Bella's hand, dangling beside his. But he caught himself before Bella would notice, he quickly withdrew his hand. He could here Bella's heart. A sound he'd missed ever so much. Bella's heart beat was the soundtrack to his life. They walked in silence for a while. Not, an awkward silence but a simply silence. The night beautiful, just like Bella. Edward thought.

Oh how he longed to touch her, to feel the pulse under her porcelain skin. How he yearned to kiss her rosy lips. It was hard not to, it was hard for Edward to except that Bella wasn't his. He had to tell her, he had to get her back-

His thoughts were interrupted by the vibration of Bella's cell phone. Bella pulled the phone from her back pocket and looked at the call ID. Brody. Perfect time, she thought. It was a good way to make Edward jealous. They only bad part was if Brody said something Bella didn't want Edward to know. Chances are he wouldn't, Bella couldn't be sure, but she took the risk anyway. "One sec." Bella said to Edward and shot him an apologetic expression.

"Hello?" Bella said into the phone.

"Hey Baby." Brody said. The word 'baby' was like a stab to the heart for Edward. He hoped Bella was single, but who was he kidding, Bella's to beautiful to be single.

"Uhm, Hi Brody." Bella said as if she was annoyed with his call.

Brody? Edward thought.

"What time are you working tonight?" Brody asked. Good, Bella thought. He didn't say anything about where or exactly what type of dance.

"The late shift." Bella informed. Brody would know when that was.

"Okay. You know I'll be there." Bella could almost see Brody winking. "Are we going to have another amazing night-" Brody continued, making Bella nervous.

"Brody, I'm with a friend. I have to go." Bella said shutting the phone. Bella knew Edward hard every word and was thankful she hang up when she did.

"Was that your Boyfriend?" Edward asked letting disappointment leak through his voice. Edward didn't know what he'd do if Bella had a boyfriend. He'd have no reason for living. But it turns out his worries were unnecessary.

"Brody? No," Bella rapidly shook her head "He's just- uh- a man whore, a pimp." It all came out in a rush. Bella wasn't very good at making people jealous, it hurt her to do it to Edward. Bella and Edward's relationship was so pure that she hated to soil it was lies.

"Oh." Edward said emotionlessly.

"Really, he's just a good friend." Bella said trying to reassure.

"Bella," Edward said seriously and strong. He stopped walking and faced her. There gazes locker and he took a deep breath and so did Bella, preparing herself for what was coming. "Bella, I have to tell you something," Edward whispered.
Bella looked at him cautiously, confused as to what he would want to tell her.

"Yes?" she asked, shakily.
Edward closed his eyes, let out a shaky breathe through his nose, and then opened his eyes and fixed his gaze on Bella.

"I have lied to you." he admitted. Bella looked at him for a moment, confused. What had he lied about, she wondered?

"What did you lie about?" she asked with curiosity

"Everything," He breathed. Bella raised her eyebrows. Edward sighed and lead her to a near by bench. They sat face to each other, Bella couldn't take anymore wondering.

"What's Everything Edward?" She asked, had he lied about being a vampire? No, that was a silly thought.

"I had to lie to protect you." He said breathlessly "I lied so I could protect you from us. I didn't want you to live in the vampire world. I wanted to keep you safe, let you live a normal, human life, have children, grow old. I wanted you to have something I couldn't give you." Edward spoke.

"Edward, what are you saying?" Bella breathed. To her, it sounded like he didn't want to leave her, but did for her own good. But if he didn't want to leave then that might mean that he still-
Bella couldn't let herself think the thought, she couldn't let herself get her hopes up, just for them to be crushed.

Edward rested his hands on both sides of Bella's face, he looked deep inside her eyes.
"I love you, Bella. It was just a lie, a idiotic painful lie. I've always loved you Bella. I always will love you, Bella."

Bella sat there, stunned. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. Did Edward Cullen, the man that left her, just say he loved her?

"Bella?" Edward whispered.

"Why?" Bella croaked.

"Why what?"

"Why are you doing this to me? Why are you making it seem like you love me?" Bella demanded.

"I do love you, Bella! I'm not lying!" He boomed but then his voice lowered into a pleading tone "And I need to know. Can you forgive me? Can you still love me?"

Bella looked into his eyes, as if she could read his soul. His topaz eyes were warm and inviting, and she knew. She knew he loved her, she's always loved him.

"Y-yes, Edward." She stuttered. "I love you too. I've never stopped."

Edward's still heart could have started beating if he didn't know any better, his biggest fears never existed. He smiled. "I want you, Bella. Just you and me, just like before." He requested.

How could Bella say no to something like that? How could Bella say she couldn't do that, when it's all she ever wanted? But Edward didn't know what he was saying, he didn't know parts of Bella. There was a lot more then before. She smoked, she was a stripper, she did meth and pot on special occastions, sometimes drank. Has a fake ID. And diffanitly isn't a inoccent, sweet little virgin anymore.

"You don't know what you're saying." Bella said hanging her head low. "I've done somethings, I do somethings, I'm not proud of." She admitted.

"We don't have to talk about that now." Edward said, trying to save the evening. "Here." He said, pulling her off the bench. "Climb on my back." He grinned and Bella giggled. But she did and hang on tight. Edward ran farther down the path till they came to an open grassy area surrounded by trees, but you could see the sky perfectly. He laid down in the grass and pulled Bella down with him. She rested her head on his chest.

This all feels so right. Bella thought. I belong here, in his arms. A natural high. Nothing else seemed important to Bella anymore. Nothing. Not even Brody. She didn't want this moment to end.

"This is unreal. It's to perfect." Bella whispered. "It's like a dream, I hope I never wake up."

"It's all real, Bella." Edward said, "Because I can't sleep."

"Doesn't it seem like a million years ago?" Bella asked.

"What does?" Edward wondered.

"Last year, when we met." Bella said.

Edward didn't know how to reply. All he could think about was his love, how much he loved Bella. He never would let her go. "I love you, Isabella Marie Swan." He sang.

"I love you, Edward Anthony Cullen. I want to be with you FOREVER." Bella said, awakening a war. But Bella grinned, so did Edward. Bella knew, it then. Everything was right-- for now anyway.
