Bella's POV

I was transferring from Grays Harbor College in Forks, Washington to USC in Southern California. I couldn't wait to leave this cloudy city for the warm Golden state. I was so happy to be transferred. I applied for USC right after high school but my cousin Gianna passed away and I couldn't leave off to California yet. I applied this year again and was accepted, I could not wait to get away from everything in Washington.

I was mentally jumping up and down as soon as I walked on campus. I went in the dorm to find mine as soon as I could. On my way, handsome tall muscular but slender, guy in a USC jacket with blue jeans came my way. He had light brown almost blonde hair that was kind of messy, and pretty green eyes. He was gorgeous.

"Hi beautiful", he said as I walked past him. Was he talking to me? No one had ever thought I was beautiful. I was extremely plain looking.

I stopped and looked back at him. He was grinning. He had the most gorgeous smile I'd ever seen.

He stood up slowly and walked to me.

"Haven't seen you around these dorms before. You a transfer?", he asked getting close to me.

"Umm yeah I just moved out here", I answered trying to look away from his eyes before I got so lost in them I couldn't speak.

"Nice. Where from?", he smiled.

"Washington", I said without thought.

He nodded.

"Need some help finding anything?", he smiled.

"No I think I'm OK. Thanks", I turned to walk away.

He grabbed around my waist pulling me against him.

"Where are you going sweetheart?", he whispered in my ear.

"I umm...I...", I couldn't think.

"My dorm is right around the corner. How about we go back there and have some fun?", I could hear the smile in his voice.

I frowned turning my head.

"Let go of me", I said trying to sound serious.

"If I don't?", he smirked.

"I will get physical", I threatened.

"Ooh don't tease me baby", he smiled.

I couldn't turn my body or twist my arms back so I kicked him in the leg. Hard.

"Ow", he let go to rub his leg.

"Sorry baby, but I'm not a tease", I said arrogantly walking away.

I found my dorm and knocked on the door even though I had a key. I knew my future roommates were already living in there and I wasn't going to barge in on them.

A short, thin girl with short black hair opened the door.

"Hello", I said smiling.

"Hi", she returned the smile. She was very pretty.

"I just transferred here and I was assigned this dorm. My name's Bella", I hed out my hand.

"Hi Bella! I'm Alice!", she ignored my hand and instead gave me a hug. She was friendly.

I chuckled and hugged her back.

"Come on in", she pulled my hand into the room and closed the door.

The dorm was very pretty. It was like a mini apartment. When you walk in you're in a living room. To the left was a bedroom with one bed. When you walk straight is a hallway. To the left of the hallway is the bathroom and to the right was another bedroom with two beds with a walk-in closet.

In the back bedroom, a beautiful blonde girl was laying on one bed. And I thought Alice was pretty.

"Bella this is Rosalie. Rosalie this is Bella, our new roommate", Alice introduced.

Rosalie got off the bed and walked over to me.

"Hi Bella", she smiled and hugged me.

Wow, California girls were very friendly. So were California boys, I thought about the guy from outside. Very friendly indeed.

We talked for awhile as I got to know them and they got to know me.

"Bella we're going to the field to hang out. You should come. Our boyfriends will be there and their roommate is cute and single. You should totally come with", Rosalie encouraged.

"Okay sure why not?", I agreed. I needed friends and hanging out with Alice and Rose more would only help our bond right?

We went down to the field. It was empty, and we sat in the stands.

"Where are they?", Rose whined.

"Jazz said they'd be here at 4. It's 4:15", Alice looked at her phone.

Three guys walked onto the stands. I couldn't see any of their faces, just their bodies. The first was a tall, slender guy with blonde hair. The second was a big, muscular, buff guy with dark hair. The third was a tall, slender guy with light brown hair. Oh no, the third one couldn't be. As the approached I recognized his clothing. Great.

I wonder if he's dating Rosalie or Alice? If he is I will so call him out on his flirting with me. Alice and Rose stood and hugged their boyfriends. He was the only one without a girl. Great, he's the single one. He smiled at me instead.

"Guys this is our new roommate Bella. Bella this is my boyfriend Jasper, Rose's boyfriend Emmett, and Edward the single one we mentioned", Alice introduced. They all said hello nicely and I waved and smiled. Edward smiled but aside form that acted like we never met. Jasper noticed his smile.

"You know each other?", he asked Edward looking at me.

I looked nervously at Edward waiting for him to respond.

He smiled wider noticing my hesitation.

"No. Bella and I have never met before now", he said not looking away from me.

Jasper's eyes narrowed. He could tell he was lying but he let it go.

"Hello again sexy", Edward whispered as he winked sitting next to me.

It was slightly akward but I didn't say anything. I instead tried to listen to what the others were talking about.

"Edward, you like Bella?", Emmett smirked.

"Who wouldn't? I mean look at her. She's so hot", he said more to me than to Emmett.

I smirked uncomfortably. He was a player and I just happened to be his next victim.

They all laughed.

"Bella and I are going to go for a walk", Edward said suddenly.

"What?", I snapped my head to him in surprised.

"Okay. See you guys later", Alice smiled.

"Bye", everyone else said.

Edward read the hesitation in my eyes and he picked me up and carried me down the stands out of the field.

"Put me down! Asshole! Let me go!", I hit his back, but all he did was chuckle.

I was getting pissed. I punched him hard in the nose. He dropped me suddenly and grabbed his nose in pain.

I felt guilty, I hadn't meant to hurt him. I just wanted him to put me down and I put too much force behind it. He sat on the ground holding his nose. I knelt beside him.

"I'm really sorry Edward", I touched his nose gently when he let it go. The pain left his face and he smiled.

"I know a way for you to make it up to me", he took my face and kissed me.

I put my hands on his face to push him away but somehow I couldn't get myself to do it. I didn't want to stop.
