I got off the boat. I walked along the sandy path.
"Stop," cried a voice "Who are you?" I turned hesitantly.

In front of me, was a boy. He looked about twenty but his eyes were eternal. I recognized him instantly from the pictures. He wasn't the one with Bella. He'd been with another girl, a tiny one.

"I am not here to fight with you" I said, "I came here in search of someone"

"If you are here looking for the children everyone thinks we've stolen, you're out of luck. It wasn't us"

"I never said that was why I was here. I am looking for a vampire. I believe she'll be here"

"What is her name then?" he asked with disbelief in his
voice.

"Bella Swan" he froze.

"You know Bella?"

"Bella raised me for a bit. So, yeah, I know Bella. Can I see her please?"

"Sure. Sorry about nearly attacking you. Some other vampire is taking kids and loads of people think it's us"

"I understand"

"What's your name then?" he asked, walking towards me.

"I'm Kyna"

"The Kyna?" he asked.

"What? I'm not famous!" I said, surprised.

"You are in our family. Bella talks about you, a lot. She misses you"

"I miss her"

"She said you were human?"

"Was. I finished my transformation yesterday" he did a double take.

"And you've been mixing with humans?!" he exclaimed.

"yes. There blood doesn't hold any appeal for me," I said.

"Wow. I mean, Bella was like that but she found it harder. You're saying you had no attraction whatsoever?"

"No, in fact I am mildly repulsed by the idea" I told him.

"Right. Well, I'm Jasper. Who turned you?" I shuddered.

"jack. He's an English vampire. He's got loads of castles and he gets a new bride for everyone. I knew that at my sixteenth birthday my fate would be decided. I'd either become an eternal sixteen-year-old bride or continue being a maid. Lucky me" I said sarcastically.

"We've heard of him a few years ago. A new prostitute serial killer. That guy is slippery" he led me down the sandy trail.

"How did you escape?" he asked.

"I said I was going hunting. He believed me. Instead I ran off"

"I don't understand. Surely he'd know you'd run away" Jasper muttered. I shrugged.

"Probably did. But it's to late now" he was a killer not a tracker. I followed Jasper. We reached a large wooden house. The beach stretched for miles, golden white and sparkling in the sun. The sun that shone on the Cullen's reflected out. I hadn't noticed in the coverage of the trees but Jasper's skin was sparkling. Most of the Cullen's were wearing beach clothing so a lot of sparkly skin was showing.

"Who's that?" asked a blonde girl, rising up suspiciously.

"Where's Bella?" asked Jasper, ignoring the girl's question.

"Hunting. With Edward. Why?" asked Jasper's mate.

"We need to see her"

"Jasper, who is this girl?" asked another blonde male.

"I'll tell you later. It's important that she sees her"

"Did I here my name being thought?" asked a voice. I jumped. I turned to see the boy from the pictures.

"Edward! Wait for me!" Bella burst into the clearing, laughing. She saw me and froze.

"Hey Bella" I said.
