Isabella and I
Isabella is cool and confident
Bella is shy and hardworking
Isabella is a cheerleader
Bella is a friendmaker.
Bella and Isabella are total opposites.
Problem is, they're the same person
Okay, this has a rather random theme. And also, slightly non/canon in parts. Don't get offended! It's just a story. Oh, and Alice isn't a vampire yet. Jasper found the Cullen's on his own. Bella, also isn't a vampire but the other Cullen's are (like normal)

I woke up with the mother of all hangovers. DAMN! Why did I keep getting these? I didn't even drink! I glanced at the clock. Midday? Wow. I struggled out of bed. I got dressed and spent the rest of the afternoon doing homework.
When I next glanced at the clock, it was five to seven. I tried not to feel excitement. He wasn't going to show. I was lying in the living room, studiously ignoring the sounds of cars outside. A car drew close. I froze, torn between ignoring it and desperately wanting to look out the window. The car past my house. I got up and kicked my pen under the sofa. I sighed and went to fish it out. The doorbell rang. I jumped, banged my arm on the sofa and struggled to free it, cursing.
"Bells? Are you going to answer it?" asked Charlie.
"Can't!" I shouted back "I'm stuck" I heard him sigh and head to the door.
"Hello? Can I help you?"
"yes, I'm Edward Cullen. I have a date with your daughter tonight" I froze. Here I was, shabbily dressed, arm stuck halfway under the sofa and Edward Cullen, human Adonis, was at my front door! God, could this day get any worse?
"Err...yes. She'll be a minute, she's stuck under the sofa" obviously it could. I groaned, gave up on the pen and pulled my arm free.
"hi" I said, trying to remain calm.
"hey. How's the arm?"
"Free" I said.
"I'll see you later then Bells?" asked Charlie.
"Sure" I said. I followed Edward out to his car.
"Your father seemed very surprised to see me" Edward
commented. Oh god. I didn't want him to know that I'd thought he wouldn't show.
"I think he miss assumed the time. I think he thought it was a day time thing"
"He seemed, incredibly surprised. Surprised, I'm assuming about the fact a young man appeared on his doorstep to take his daughter out. I can only assume he didn't know"
"And I would also assume on that fact and the small matter of a conversation I overheard on Friday, that you thought I wouldn't show"
"Did you?" he pressed. I looked into his eyes and my soul
"Yes" I confessed.
"Why?" he seemed genuinely curious.
"It's embarrassing" I told him. We were in the car at this point, so I could avoid his eyes by staring out the window.
"Tell me?" he pleaded. I didn't answer.
"Bella, look at me" he said. I turned and his eyes captivated me once more.
"Why didn't you think I'd show up?"
"Well...boys like you...just don't invite girls like me out to places. Not seriously, as jokes or if they want something. And...when you asked me if I still wanted to go...your expression made it look like you'd hope I'd say no"
"Oh" that was it. All he said.
"I'm sorry" I said, desperately. He was the one looking away now and I was afraid of what I'd see in his eyes.
"No...I'm sorry. I should have realised. Shown you I was sincere or something"
"It's okay" I changed the subject "So where are we going?"
"Movie. Nothing flashy. You can pick if you like"
"Err, do you fancy The Craft?" I asked, picking a random film I knew was out.
"Sure" he said. We reached the theatre. I turned to undo my seatbelt and a cool breeze hit me. Somehow, he was already by my side of the car. He shrugged at my baffled expression.
"Just being polite"
We drove home quickly.
"Bella, er...did you enjoy yourself?"
"Would you like to go out...Thursday? For a drive after school?"
"Sure" I said. I thought he only took me out to say thanks. Maybe he really does like me.
"Great. See you then" then he was gone, disappearing in a flash.
