Isabella and I

Summary:
Isabella is cool and confident
Bella is shy and hardworking
Isabella is a cheerleader
Bella is a friendmaker.
Bella and Isabella are total opposites.
Problem is, they're the same person

Notes:
Okay, this has a rather random theme. And also, slightly non/canon in parts. Don't get offended! It's just a story. Oh, and Alice isn't a vampire yet. Jasper found the Cullen's on his own. Bella, also isn't a vampire but the other Cullen's are (like normal)

Bella
I reached school, trying to calm my fears. I didn't know if I was cracking up but I knew one thing. Normal people did not have arguments with themselves in the mirror. Well, maybe some did. But normally that was about what they were wearing. I brushed my hair out of my face and got out of the car. Edward was leaning against his car nearby.

"Hey Edward" I said.

"Bella" he said, smiling "You still up for this afternoon?"

"Err...of course"

"Great. I'll meet you after your last lesson. Gym? Right?"

"Yes. How come you seem to know my schedule almost as well as you know your own?" I asked, curiously. He grinned at me.

"What can I say? I pay attention"

"Sure. That's all it is"

"What would you say it is then?"

"If I didn't know better I'd say that you have been checking out my schedule in order to know where I am and when"

"And if I had?"

"That counts as stalking you know," I said. He looked away from me.

"Edward. I didn't mean it. Come on, it was a joke" I said, trying to get him to look at me again.

"Edward, please" he turned. His eyes were hard and filled with uncompromising sadness.

"Sorry" I said.

"You have nothing to apologize for. I...overreacted. I‘m sorry" he said. I placed a hand, cautiously on his face.

"Don't," I said. He looked into my eyes and I felt like he could see everything about me. He placed his hand on top of mine. We looked at each other for a few more minutes. Then he, very gently, placed his lips on mine. He pulled off suddenly.

"I'm sorry. That was out of line" he took his hand off mine, knocking mine off his cheek at the same time.

"Edward, its fine" I said, quietly "I don't mind"

"Yes, but I think they do" he said, whispering in my ear. I half turned and froze. Practically the whole school was staring at us with pop-eyes. Mike was at the front.

"Oh"

"Come on. Just follow me" he wrapped an arm around my shoulder protectively and steered me through the startled, now breaking into startled whispers, crowd. We reached the shelter of my first hour classroom.

"Oh god!" I muttered. He had a look on his face.

"What?" he burst out laughing.

"Sorry. It wasn't really funny. It was just the look on your face"

"Oh great" I flounced into my seat with a huff.

"Bella" he said. I looked up at him, furious. He burst out laughing again. I couldn't help it. I had to laugh too. He knelt by me and kissed me.

"Ahem!" a cough. He released me and turned. Mike had come
into the room.

"Oh right. Sorry Bella. I better be getting to my class. See you later" he left.

"Hi Mike," I said, trying to ignore my prominent blush.

"Bella. So...you and Cullen huh?"

"What about it?"

"I don't like it. He just looks at you...like you're something to eat"

"Mike, it's really none of your business. Sorry, but it's not"

"Fine!" he went and sat down. The class filled up. Everyone kept glancing at me. I couldn't help thinking about what Mike had said. Like I was something to eat?
