I was lying in the middle of the meadow, soaking up the warmth the sun gave off. My skin of course was sparkling by the sun’s rays, but that wasn’t what caught my attention. There was a stronger and brighter light that shone off my skin. It happened to be coming from my left hand; it was a ring, an engagement ring.

I heard light footsteps coming up from behind me and I saw myself turn to greet the person with a huge smile on my lips. Aburptly the vision was cut off.

I came back to realty with a jolt, with many curious eyes on me. There was only one pair of eyes I wished to see, I needed to talk to Alice, to find the meaning behind this vision. I searched around the room but she was no where to be found, Jasper I noticed was not present either.

I heard a giddy scream come from upstairs somewhere; I took that as my cue and ran up the stairs to see Alice jumping up and down hugging Jasper. When she turned and saw me she leapt across the room and tackled me.

“Bella, I knew I just knew it!” I was confused by her words what did she know?

“Alice, I saw it too but the vision was cut off, I didn’t get to see who was coming.” I was beginning to get angry for a reason that was so stupid. I was angry because I wanted to see who I was engaged to. I wanted to see who was coming up behind me so desperately. I wanted to believe that one day soon, I would be happy again; I wanted to believe that one day I would smile like I had in the vision.

I came back from my train of thought because Alice was spinning me around the room. I grabbed her hand and pulled her into my room.

“Alice did you see who was behind me; who I am suppose to become engaged to? Please tell me you saw him.” I looked at her, and saw excitement in my eyes. My eyes probably looked desperate for answers.

“Bella, I won’t ruin this for you. I saw the person but I love you too much to take that kind of surprise from you. It wouldn’t be the same if I told you.” My only answer was to stare at her in disbelief, I could feel my jaw drop.

“But…. But.. Please!!” I saw she was about to answer me when Edward came running throw my bedroom door.

His smile was so big it could have blinded a human begin. He looked at Alice and ran to her and picked her up and spun her around just as she had done to me. I felt like I was missing something extremely obvious but I was to preoccupied to realize exactly how important the piece of information was.

When Edward put Alice back on her feet and began to charge for me, he opened his arms as if he was going to hug me but he suddenly stopped and turned to look at Alice with his brow in confusing. I knew they were having a secret conversation in their minds. I quickly borrowed Edward’s power but unfortunately only caught a glimpse of the last thing spoken.

“--blocked it off.” was all I managed to get. I just figured Alice was referring to the vision that she blocked the end off from me. And possibly Edward?

I looked up at Edward to see his face fall and he looked extremely sad. He dropped his arms to his side and turned back to Alice.

“Why?” He sounded outraged as he said this to Alice. She just shook her head.

“Edward come with me, please?” He silently obeyed and left the room with Alice.

I just stood there completely agitated and shocked. I was getting engaged I didn’t know when or to who but I was! But I didn’t know to who. That bothered me more then anything, Alice could know why couldn’t I….

The more I thought about it the more I was pleased Alice didn’t tell me. I honestly didn’t want to know, I wanted to be surprised.

Three hours later I stopped day dreaming about my wedding and went to take a shower. The smell of the strawberry shampoo was very relaxing as was the hot water steaming down my back. I stayed in till I heard someone knock on my door. I turned the water off and got out grabbing a towel.

“One minute!” I shouted as I dried off and throw on some comfy sweats and a hoodie. I quickly brushed my teeth, and wrapped my hair up in the towel.

I opened the door to find Edward looking as glorious as ever on the other end.
