After Edward left Bella, Charlie was so worried about her that he had to do something about her. He was going to do something Bella didn't like, so she ran away and decided to try and find Edward at any cost. She'll run into a lot of trouble along the way. After all, it is Bella.

Everything belongs to Stephenie Meyer. I am just playing with her characters.

I was driving up the long overgrown path to his house. I hadn’t been here in so long. I could feel the pain striving to destroy me from the inside. I couldn’t explain why I was doing this if it was to save my life.

I made it up to the house, but it didn’t look right. I believe it’s because the life that was once in it, is gone. It was just a shell of what it was when the Cullens were here.

I slowly emerged from my truck and walked into the house. Some things were gone, but some things remained under white cloths like ghosts waiting to scare me and bring pain.

As I walked in further, I came to the stairs and ventured up them. I wandered into his room. I remembered when he took me here for the first time. It was magical back then.

His couch was still there, so I silently laid down on it and remembered all my time with him until I came to a realization I can‘t believe I haven‘t already had. I couldn’t live without him. What I’m doing now isn’t living; it’s dying slowly on the inside. I want him back, no... I need him back. I made up my mind right then. I am going to find Edward Cullen, no matter what I have to do.

I woke up with the windows letting in no light. I suddenly didn’t know where I was and it scared me until I realized I had fallen asleep on his couch. For a moment, I almost believed he was still here with me, until I remembered… that he left.

I slowly got up and went to the window. It was dark outside. I started wondering why I’d woken up at night, but I realized that this could be an opportunity to get some of my things from my house. Charlie can’t stay up all night waiting for me. I got into my truck and headed back.

The lights were off when I came down my street. I stopped a little ways from the house to make sure I didn’t wake Charlie. I went into the house and slowly inched into my room to pack. I started putting my things into my duffle bag.

Honestly, I don’t know where I’ll go from here, but I’ll think of something. I have to… As I finished packing, I grabbed my money that I keep for emergencies, and went down stairs to leave Charlie a note.

Dear Dad,

I’m sorry for running out like that. I knew you didn’t mean to hurt me, but I can’t be put into that place like an insane person.

I am going to find Edward and I don’t know when I’ll be back. I know you don’t like him, and you probably think this is a bad idea,

but I have to do it. I have to at least talk to him. I’ll call you when I can. I’m sorry.

I love you,

I quickly grabbed my bag and left the note on the kitchen table. I walked to my truck and started driving towards Seattle. At least there is an airport near there. Maybe I could go to Denali. I think that’s where the other coven, like the Cullens, is.
