Favorite Accident

Summary:
Thanks to that fateful accident I was now where I felt the most at home, the hospital. I was now talking with my new friends in Forks. I couldn't think of a better accident I've ever been part of. I was now looking around at the faces of my new friends and the person who saved me ; Bella, Esme, Edward, Emmett, Rosalie, Jacob, Jasper, Alice, Carlisle, and Renesmee. I chuckled once again remembering that I knew almost everything about them before I even met them. This truely was my favorite accident.

It was dark. In the background I could hear people yelling and screaming.

I listened closely and heard yelling from right next to me.

"Someone call 9-1-1!" A female yelled.

"No, it'll take too long. She'll have lost too much blood by the time they get here." I heard a male respond.

I groaned, letting them know I was still aware of them. I tried to sit up, but I felt a sharp pain in my side. I cried out and fell back on the hard ground sobbing and clutching my side. I barely noticed that my hand was touching some thick liquid.

"She's in pain, what do you expect we do, leave her there?"

I suddenly was picked up by two strong, hot arms.

"What are you doing?"

"What does it looke like I'm doing? I'm taking her to the hospital." He spat at her.

I could feel tears falling down my face as I clutched his shirt and my side. I whispered, "Hurry."

"I will." He whispered back.

Suddenly I felt wind against my left side and I knew he was running.

"So how are you?" He said, trying to lighten the mood.

"Oh, you know sharp pain in my side." I said panting.

"Well I'm taking you to the closest hospital. What's your name?"

"Destiny. Yours?"
"Jacob."
I chuckled.

"What?"

"That's the name of one of the caracters in my favorite books."

"Well it is a common name."

"I know I had a lot of people in school named Jacob."

"Really?"

"Yeah. One of them read the books too."

"Who were you yelling at?"

"Jessica Stanley. I think she hates you."

"She wanted someone to call an ambulance, and you think she hates me?"

"Yeah but she hates a lot of people."

"I don't even know her, though she has the same name as someone else in the books."

"I'll have to read those books. What are their names?"

"I have them in my-" I cried out again and clutched my side more.

"Don't worry we are almost there. I have your bag by the way."

I was crying too much, I could barely utter my thanks to him.

Just them I heard sirens next to us going in the direction of the accident.

"I told her they would be too late."

"Jacob, how bad am I bleeding?" I sobbed.

"A lot."

"I should have guessed. The scent is too strong."

"What?"

"I can smell blood, it's like I can smell the iron. My nose is normally stuffed up though so it's normally not strong."

"Oh. I only know one other person who can do that."

"I'm probably getting blood all over your shirt."

"I'm not wearing one, so don't worry."

"I wont. I'm around blood too much."

"Why?"
"I"m clumbsy. I fall a lot, my doctors have a room just for me."

"Wow. Which room I'll take you straight there."

"Oh. I haven't been here long. I just got off my plane yesterday."

"Why?"

"Mom had to do somthing in Seatle and an old family member had a house here and gave it us before they died."

"Oh."

"I have been there alone since I got here."

"Why?"

"My brother is in North Carolina. Mom's in Seattle."

"Oh."

I cried out again as I felt the sharp pain again.

"It's okay. This hospital has one of the best doctors around."

"I probably need stitches." I panted out.

"I don't know, but I do know he won't let anything happen to someone like you."

"You barely know me, how can you say that?" I said smiling.

"I can tell."

"Well thanks for that."

"No problem."

"I'm glad you found me."

"Why?"

"Because if you hadn't I wouldn't be making a friend in this place."

"Oh. Well it was my pleasure then."

"No it wasn't."

"Yes it was."

"Yes it was."

"No it wasn't."

"Ha. I got you." I said weakly.

I was falling asleep slowly. He may be a stranger, but it was still very comforting in his arms, and I couldn't help but feel like he wouldn't let any thing happen to me.

"Don't fall asleep. Please don't fall asleep until we get there."

"I'll try." I mumbled, barely concious anymore.

"Stay awake, I don't want to shake you because I could hurt you."

"I'm trying."

"We're almost there. Just stay awake a couple of more minutes."

"Wow only about five minutes have passed and we're almost there already. You must run really fast to shorten the time that much."

"You could say that."

"You have no clue how tired I am."

"I may not but you need to stay awake."

"I'm trying as hard as possible. Sometimes the blood makes me pass-out. It's hard to fight against it. I normally give in to it. I don't think I can."

"Try. Just another minute."

It actually took less than a minute to get there because suddenly I was surrounded by the cool air of the air conditioned hospital.

"How may I help— Oh my goodness. What happened?" I heard a female ask. She was probably the front secratary, we will be getting to know each other very fast.

"That doesn't matter. Get Carlisle now, tell him Jacob is here."

"Okay." There were a few minutes while she called the docter. "He's on his way."

"Thank you."

"Jacob."

"Yes?"

"Can I go to sleep now?"

He chuckled a little. Just then I heard another male voice in the room.

"Jacob. What are you doing here?" There was a pause. "Who's bleeding it's strong." The voice came from behind me so I guessed he couldn't see me yet. Jacob must have turned around because he said, "Oh my god. What happened to her?"

"I don't know. I found her on the sidewalk. It was faster to run than to wait for the ambullance."

"Good choice. Do you know anything about her?"

"Not much."

"My name is Destiny." I told him. "Now let me sleep."

"Okay you can sleep now, you're in good hands now." I felt my limp body being passed and I winced slightly at the pain that the movement caused.

"Wait. I have one more question, Jacob."

"What is it?"

"What is your last name?"

He chuckled again. "My last name is Black. Now sleep, will you."

I cried out in pain once again and then I couldn't take it one moment longer. I passed out from the over-baring pain that my side was inflicting on me.
