Love And Insanity

Summary:
Bella jokingly asks Edward to do something for her, he takes her seroiusly and because he loves her so much, he does it, and the repercussions are worse then either of them could have ever imagined. We got the idea for this story after listening to "The Way I Loved You" By Taylor Swift.

Notes:
I co-wrote this story with my best friend, Abby, and since she doesn't have a fanfic account, she asked me to post it for her, so I can't take all the credit for this story, just most of it! Just kidding! Enjoy!

1. Chapter I

It was eleven o'clock on a Friday night. Edward and I were sitting on the floor in front of the recliner watching the game with Charlie. Maybe, just maybe, Charlie would give us a few more minutes, maybe he wouldn't notice it was eleven, he was so absorbed in the game.

"Edward, 11:00, time to go." Charlie said.

How strict, not even a few extra minutes, and it was the weekend! "Okay, dad, got it!" I snapped back. He replied with a sour look.

Edward and I stood up to say goodbye. He kissed me long enough to make Charlie uncomfortable, Charlie cleared his throat. Edward straightened up. Then said goodbye and whispered, "See you in a minute!" Even though I could still see him, I missed his touch and felt as though I was going to cry as he opened and closed the front door.

Hmmm, I have to figure out a reason to go to bed.

"Dad, I have a headache, I'm going to bed. Goodnight!" I said quickly over my shoulder as I jumped up and took the stairs two at a time.

"Okay, goodnight Bells." He said slowly and confused though I could vaguely hear him as I opened my bedroom door, saw Edward, and the sadness from moments ago flooded out of my heart as a newfound happiness washed over me.

I walked in, held up one finger, said "I need a human moment, don't move." He sat like a statue as I grabbed my bag, and headed towards the bathroom.

I hopped into the shower solely for the purpose of relaxation. I jumped out, brushed my teeth, put on my pajamas, and ran back to my room. My mind was side-tracked and I didn't even realize Charlie was coming up the stairs until I had almost run him over. "Sorry dad!" I said trying to keep from falling down the stairs.

"Wait, Bells, why are you run..." I didn't hear the rest of what he said as I slammed the door in his face. I sat down on the bed, staring at the perfectly still and angelic Edward as though he was the main attraction at a big museum and I was the out of town tourist.

"Okay, you can move now!" I half yelled, he looked at me, a smile touching his eyes, grinning at me with his beautiful, crooked smile. Then, the door handle started turning. He flew up off the bed and darted out the window as the door opened, we were safe! This was one of the very few times I was thankful I had a sticky door handle. Charlie must have heard me yell at Edward and come to see what was wrong.

"What was that?" Charlie asked.

"What was what?" I asked innocently.

"I saw something fly out your window," he said, then realizing that, to himself, he probably sounded stupid, and dropped the subject. "Why were you yelling?"

"Yelling? Dad no one was yelling. Tomorrow I'm going to make an ear doctor appointment, you really need one!" I replied slyly. He turned around, grumbling to himself about how he could hear just as well as I could. Charlie left my room, shutting the door tightly behind him.

Edward reentered using the window, kissed me and said "Wow, that was a really, really close call! Maybe tomorrow we should wait until Charlie goes to bed before we start talking."

"That is probably a good idea." I replied, a little sad that it would be even longer until I got to see Edward after he left at 11:00. "Sometimes I just wish Charlie wasn't around so we wouldn't have to worry about him."

"Yeah, me too." He replied. We laid there in silence for a while, his cold arm around my shoulders. This moment was perfect, and there was absolutely nothing that could ruin it, I wouldn't change it for anything.
