Love And Insanity

Summary:
Bella jokingly asks Edward to do something for her, he takes her seroiusly and because he loves her so much, he does it, and the repercussions are worse then either of them could have ever imagined. We got the idea for this story after listening to "The Way I Loved You" By Taylor Swift.

Notes:
I co-wrote this story with my best friend, Abby, and since she doesn't have a fanfic account, she asked me to post it for her, so I can't take all the credit for this story, just most of it! Just kidding! Enjoy!

One Week Later

I missed Edward so much. This morning, he, Emmett, and Jasper went hunting. I was stuck with Rosalie and "little miss makeover"; this was not a good thing. Alice wanted me to act like a human size Barbie doll. This consisted of hair and make-up doing. I just wanted to be back in Edward's arms. I missed the cold of his touch and the shivers down my spine that had nothing to do with the temperature of his skin.

I wished Edward would just once let me go along when he went hunting, but I understood why I couldn't go, and it sounded pretty graphic to me. I drew the line when Alice tried to stuff me into a pink, fluffy, lacey, strapless, prissy contraption, with matching shoes that might as well have been my death sentence! Rosalie saw us fighting, rolled her eyes and left me to die.

I couldn't go home, Alice wouldn't let me since I would have been alone. Charlie was fishing with Billy in a new spot I had never been to. All I knew was it was in the mountains, somewhere near La Push. I didn't mind being alone and I knew that Charlie would have fun fishing with Billy. The only thing I was worried about was there were a lot of mountain lions near where they were going.

Edward's P.O.V.

Emmett, Jasper, and I were hunting just on the outskirts of the reservation. The mountains were over-populated with mountain lions, so it wouldn't be noticed if there were a few dead ones; it would just look like they killed each other because there was no other food.

I saw Charlie and remembered what Bella had said the week before, about not having Charlie around anymore. He smelled good, and I was so thirsty, he was just a few yards away...

Bella's P.O.V.

I was sitting on the couch in the Cullen's living room, watching TV with Rosalie. We heard a blood-curdling scream from the kitchen. We ran to find Alice on the floor, she was having a vision. The screaming stopped and her eyes flashed me, her voice high-pitched with worry and fright she said, "We have to go find Edward, you won't believe what he is going to do!"

We drove away as fast as Alice's Porsche would take us. As she started to slow down, the terrain looked just as Charlie had described the place where he and Billy were going to fish. Then I saw Charlie's cruiser and something dawned on me. I looked at Alice, horrified, I knew exactly what was going to happen.

Edward's P.O.V.

As I ran full speed at the boat I could think of nothing but what Bella had said to me just seven days before. "Sometimes I just wish Charlie wasn't around so we wouldn't have to worry about him." I heard someone cry out my name in the distance. I turned around and saw Bella and Alice looking toward me. The look on Bella's face was one of sheer horror. Her look tore my heart to shreds. She began to cry and turned to run into the woods. I ran after her and grabbed her arm, she hit me, screamed "LEAVE ME ALONE!" and ran, I didn't try to catch her, I was sobbing without tears. How was I ever going to fix this?
