“Nessie,” I heard Jake whisper. I groaned and turned over.

“I know you don't want to wake up, but I have to go, so bye.” he kissed my cheek and I heard him walk away.

“NO!!” I screamed and shot out of bed. We was only on the other side of the bed now, smiling smug at me. I stood up and stretched them danced over to say goodbye to him and kiss him. Then, he left and I was alone.

“Damn it. This means I have to hang out with Alice and play Barbie.” I muttered to myself and went to get ready for the day.

“I'm here!” Alice sang as she entered my room.

“How did y- oh right.” I rolled my eyes.

“Yup yup. And we're going to shopping. We're going shopping.” she sang and did a dance.

“No, we are not. We just went yesterday!” I protested.

“Ha ha! Tricked you! We're really playing dress up allllll day!” she giggled and pulled me to her car. We drove to the big house.

“Oh, I told Rose she could help too, since all the boys are hunting today. Esme took some clothes to Good Will, and your Mom will be back from Charlie's in an hour.” she told me as we went to her room, where Rosalie was waiting.

They picked an outfit for me, and were now fussing over my hair and make up.

“You remind me so much of your mother.” Alice sighed. I rolled my eyes.

“How so?”

“So many ways, right Rose?” Alice asked her opinion.

“Yes, like when you got her ready after the fight, oh and the wedding, and prom and-"

“Wait, fight?” I stopped her.

“Yes, there were some newborns loose, so the wolves and us vampires took care of it.” Alice told me.

“Why would you get my Mom ready after 'The Fight' then?” I was confused.

“She was going to go see Jacob.” Rosalie said.

“So?”

“She was telling him she didn't want to be with him.” Alice explained.

“Wait, why would he need to know that?” I started to worry.

“Oh crap.” Alice and Rose exchanged worried looks. “Nobody ever told you this?”

“No. But you're going to. Why?” I demanded.

“Because he.... oh gosh. They're going to kill us.”

“Tell me.” I begged.

Rosalie looked upset to tell me “Because he loved her.” she said in a small voice.

What?!” I spat and jumped from my seat. “MOTHER!!” I flew down the stairs.

“Yes?” she asked, looking up from her book.

“You and Jacob were in love??!!” I demanded.

“Um, Renesmee, calm down!”

“I hate you!” I screamed in pure anger.

“Rene-”

“No!! Leave me alone! I' can't believe neither of you ever told me this!!” I stormed from the house. When I got home, he arrived moments later.

“Hey-”

“Answer one question for me.” I said slowly through clenched teeth.

“Um, okay...? What's wrong?”

“Did you love my mother?” I kept my voice calm the best I could.

His widened in horror. “Ness, we-”

“Traitor.” I spat and ran upstairs.
