"Come in!" Came the teachers welcome. I slowly turned the knob and opened the door to reveal the awaiting class. Every head in the room was turned and every pair of eyes were staring at me, with all kinds of emotions radiating from them, Anger, Jealousy, Boredom. I nearly had the plan to turn around and say something like 'whoops, wrong class' but it would be the same in all the lessons, might as well start of with a bang.

"Hello," I shyly greeted the teacher, as a normal human would do. He looked right at me, knowing in his eyes.

"Why, you must be Isabella Black?" Having to use Jake's name. This was also another teacher I would have to convince to use my shortened name.

"Bella please Sir." He smiled a warm smile and nodded.

"We have been expecting you." Of course they would have been. Everyone in this school, were talking about the new 'beautiful' family moving to Forks. Mr Thompson turned to the class and Introduced me. Even with the warm smiles, me and this teacher were not going to see eye to eye much.

I smiled at the class, then went to the seat at the back of the classroom. The lecture was on the Earth's weather cycle. How many times had I done this now? three? four? I must have lost count. If I had my way, we all would have given up school by now. But Esme wanted the family to be civilized and well mannered to the fellow community. Even now being back at the old hometown, we still have to worry about what other people think.

Listening to the teacher drone on and on, made me think of some of the other things I could be doing right now; spending quality time with Nessie, having fun with Edward, you know the usual. Thirty minutes into the lesson, and I really could not suppress the boredom no longer. I let down my shield and started to communicate with Edward.

Edward if you can hear me, I love you and I am so bored right now. If you can find a way to save me please do. I lifted my shield back up and concealed my thoughts once again. What was I thinking? Edward couldn't come and save me, he was in lessons as well.

Suddenly there was a knock on the classroom door.

"Enter." Mr Thompson ordered. I recognized the scent immediately, it was Edward. He really came to save me? Bless his heart, I really didnt deserve him. My Greek god walked in and gave a quick grin. "How can I help you young man?" Pfft. Young man? Edward was old enough to be his great grandad five time over. Edward smiled politely at the teacher.

"Mr Thompson. I'm afraid Bella Black has to see Mrs King immediately." Edward truly was a life saver. "She sent me because she needed to pick up her new timetable." Edward obviously heard what the teacher was thinking. He grunted, then gave a stiff nod.

"Very well then," He gestured to the door. "Bella." I rose from my chair and strode past the other sudents, through the door. Edward thanked the teacher and closed the door behind him.

We ran right out the building and into the silence of the forest.

When I realized that we were actually alone, I started to feel the electricity that sparked between me and Edward. I just couldn't resist any more, I turned around and poured my heart out between Edward's lips.

The sensation was so addictive that I couldn't break away from him. Edward seemed to feel it too, as he just pulled me closer and gave out a low moan. We could have gone on like this forever, pure bliss. Suddenly a loud nasal bell sounded, and broke me and Edward apart. We just giggled and he squeezed me to his chest. I was so focused on Edward and his lips on mine, that I forgot to thank him for letting me ditch lesson.

"Edward, you must think I am such a sad person, ditching the first lesson," He was about to protest my statement but I quickly cut him off "I know you don't think I am, but anyway i just wanted to say 'thank you'." What was with me? I can't even spend more than an hour away from Edward.

"Bella?" I looked up to see his amber eyes glowing with happiness. "How can I think you a sad person, I love you." I kissed him again, this time with soft pressure. He giggled and responded. "You know, I was going to drag you from your lesson anyway. I hate being away from you, its torture." I couldn't help the small titter that came from my throat. He was only supposed to read my mind when my shield was down.

"I thought you couldn't read my mind?" I said and tested that thought. He smiled and replied "Well you know what they say?" I looked at him puzzled. Did I? "Linked souls think alike."

"Is that official?" I questioned. I had never heard it before.

"Well alright I made it up, but its true." My Edward, always the most precious. This time it was his turn to give me a swift kiss. "I tell you what, let's just ditch the rest of the day. I hear the big house is empty?" How could you not love this man.

"Linked souls think alike." I quoted him. He took that as a confirmation, so we linked our hands together and ran off home, letting Alice drive the Volvo back.
