Before I knew it, I was being dragged down Port Angeles. I felt like a little girl. Alice was on a roll this morning. I was starting to get a little worried as Alice passed three clothes stores absentmindedly, was she losing her mind?

"Alice?" she looked perfectly normal when she turned to look at me. "I'm sorry for asking, but are you ill?" She looked absolutely puzzled. I mean this was Alice, the girl that knows the exact location of each fashion store.

"I'm not ill Bella. What made you ask something like that for?" I couldn't help but giggle at her.

"Well, you have just passed three stores that sell clothes." She rolled her eyes at me and continued dragging me along the street.

We came to a stop outside an unfamiliar shop. She ushered me inside. There was a rather old muggy smeel in the air, mainly old oak wood and varnish. I hadn't smelt a store like this in over fifty years.

The shop was filled with all kinds of instruments. I was completely stunned for a minute. After many years I managed to learn a few piano compositions and I played them very poorly, I was nothing in Edward's calibre.

"Alice, whta are we doing in here? Edward probably has everything in this music store, maybe even more." She gave me a dispproving look.

"I remember once about ninety years ago, I asked Edward what he missed most from his human life," I should have asked Edward this question ages ago, I am the worst wife ever. She carried on, "He replied he missed his old Windover Piano. I looked it up and apparently there are only a few stores in the world that sells them. Lucky that this store is one of them." She looked proud of herself at the information she managed to find.

I hugged her so tightly, she was the best sister in the whole world.

"Alice. Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou! You are one amazing lady, do you know that?" She smiled a huge grin and embraced me even tighter.

"Let's talk to the shopkeeper. He has it out the back." I smiled and nodded at her.

We walked over to the counter, where the owner sat on an old stool.

"Hello there Sir." Alice greeted the man with so much warmth, that he smiled and rose from his chair. "I heard that this store owns a Windover Piano. Early 1900's." At least Alice knew what she was talking about. The man was in his late sixties, balding and smelt of tobacco.

"Yes Miss, we do. The finest Oak Standing." This must have been the one Alice was after, she stood there with the biggest grin ever. "I'm afraid its rather picey Ma'am." Alice just smiled at the old gentleman and asked him to show her the instrument.

We were lead through to a wide wooden door. Alice's small hand wedged the door open an a beautiful sight came to me.

There in the middle of the room stood a magnificent mahogany piano. It's rare beauty amazed me, and the quality of wood was perfect. I could see Edward sitting here, playing each note with care and precision, smiling at me, playing my lullaby. Alice shook my arm and took me out of the wonderful vision.

"What do you think?" I really did love this girl. Without her I would never have dreamed of this gift. My embrace caught her in surprise and she excitedly returned the gesture.

"I love it Alice, I love it! It's absolutely perfect for him, Thank you." She chuckled in my ear.

"I'm glad you like it Bella. Go back to the car, I will take care of this and meet you there in about ten minutes." I nodded and strolled aimlessly out of the shop.

I made a mental note to myself, to repay Alice back for her amazingness. Edward's face will be a remarkably beautiful sight.
