Alice parked her new Porsche in the huge garage and led the way into the house.

"Hello? Anyone in?" My voice echoed around the house, but no replies were sounded, so I presumed they weren't back from hunting yet. Alice giggled and danced to her room claiming she needed a good clean up.

So i had about two hours before Edward was home. First on the agenda was to ring up Renesmee, I hadn't spoken to her in nearly three days. Today was Saturday so Nessie should be in.

After the fourth ring her beautiful voice filled my ears.

"Mom?" No words can describe how much pride enters my dead heart when she calls me that.

"Nessie? Baby, are you okay?"

"Yeah mom, I'm fine. Well actually, there is something I want to tell you and dad." her voice was barely a whisper. My 'mom' mode had kicked in by now, and questions left my lips before I could control them.

"What's wrong Renesmee? You tell me now, or I will come down there and demand it from you. Did Jacob do something? Are you hurt? Is it___"

She interupted me with a frustrated sigh. What did she expect from a mother?

"Woah! mom calm down. You're blowing this way out of proportion. It's nothing too serious, the news will just come as a bit of a shock, thats all. Now calm."

I took a few unecessary breaths to control myself.

"Tell me honey?" My curiosity was blazing.

"Look, me and Jacob will come and visit the family later. About seven-ish okay?"

Was she seriously asking my permission to visit us? She will always be my baby and is welcome here any time.

"Nessie, Sweetie, you are welcome here anytime. You know that."

"Alright mom. See you in a few. Just practise calming methods, okay?"

"Whatever Ness, can't wait"

The line went dead. My Nessie had bad news? If that mutt has hurt her in any way, he will have me to deal with. Renesmee was right. I really need to practise my non getting worked up scheme. I began to focus on the good points, seeing my Nessie soon and my personal god should be here soon as well.

Perhaps it was best to ring Edward and warn him of our daughters 'bad' news. Gosh Bella, such a worrier. Calm. Serene. Nessie is fine. Nothing to worry about. I needed a distraction and fast.

Since we were back in Forks, I decided to visit Charlie's headstone. Good distraction, should pass the time.

The cullen garage now surrounded me and I had a choice of any car or a run. Tricky decision, I will take Edward's upgraded Volvo.

The journey barely took a few minutes. The greenery that now surrounded charlie's resting place was unmanageable. Edward and I chose the forest outside my old home, for Charlie's end. The black headstone sit there, still as beautiful as ever. I laid the tulips at the base of the stone, and just sat in front of it. Admiring the surroundings and dwelling on the past times when Charlie was around. The gold letters engraved on the stone still stand out.

Charlie Swan

A father, A grandfather, A husband, And a great man.

Always in our hearts forever.

Sitting there crying tearless sobs, made me completely forget about the time. The evening had closed in. My cell phone vibrated continuously on. I flipped it open just as the call died off. I had eight missed calls and two voicemails. Was I really that out of it?

I listened to the message left.

"Bella, It's Edward. I'm beginning to get a little worried. Alice can only see blurry and distant visions of you in a forest. Please can you just call me and let me know you are okay. I love you"

The next one was relatively the same.

"Bella. Please just call me. I'm getting really worried now. If you don't call within the hour I'm coming to find you."

My Edward, such a worrier. I flicked open the speed dial and called Edward.

"Bella? Thank goodness. I was so worried." I couldn't help the slight chuckle that came from my lips.

"Edward I'm fine. I'm on my way home just now, I will be ten minutes max."

"Alright, I am sorry for overreacting. I just go crazy when we are seperated."

"I know. I'll be there in a few minutes." I was already seated and buckled in the car.

"Okay. I love you." Those words give me butterflies everytime.

"I love you to, Bye." I flipped the phone shut and sped off home. Within the next five minutes I will be in the arms of my beautiful husband. That thought alone pushed my foot down harder on the accelerator. Only a few more seconds now.
