I fill the role
Of that guardian
My love behold
I watch her sleep
And watch her dream
How terrifying
I am in scene

Life and love
Seems to spread
Over and under,
Through my head
How wicked, how doomed
She must be
To find me here, guarding thee

A cruel joke in fate
The least capable of good
The most filled with hate
Thrown towards pureness
To protect
That life that's good
When filled with dread
