“Alright class, turn in your homework please.” The teacher said as the final bell rang for everyone to be in his or her seats. I fumbled around in my bag ‘looking’ for the homework I knew to be sitting on my desk at home. “Kailyn, is there something wrong with your black hole of a bag?”

“Um… it ate my homework?” I tried, the teacher shook his head at me and went back to collecting the other papers. The door opened and another teacher walked in, he said something to him and walked out again. The second time he opened the door someone edged by him and into the room. “Edward?” I asked, he smiled and walked right over to me.

“Did you forget something?” He set the paper down on my desk.

“What are you doing here? Mr. Johnson won’t like student visitors.”

“Than don’t tell him I’m here.” He shrugged and sat down in the empty desk next to me. “He can’t see me anyway.”

“What do you mean he can’t see you?”

“Okay, so I got bored after the first hour and wandered around your house for a while.”

“You said you would stay there!”

“I know, but I read everything in your room. Oh and filled your hamper for you.”

“Edward.” I moaned

“A simple thank you would have been nice.”

“Did anyone catch you?”

“Almost. I wasn’t really paying attention to your dad when he was in the garage. So when he got back I was just coming out of the office. He went right through me and didn’t even know that I was there in the way.”

“He didn’t see you?”

“Nope.” Edward smiled, I gave a slight nod and returned my attention to the teacher.

“I found my homework.”

“Oh, good. I thought you were lying to me.” Mr. Johnson took the paper and set it on his desk. He then began writing on the board, after a few notes he turned to look at us.

“I have always wanted to do this.” Edward whispered to me; before I could ask him what, he ran up to the board and wiped away the words. When the teacher turned back to the board he jumped and held his heart. The class turned and whispered about what had just happened to themselves. Edward, completely unseen, returned to the empty desk.

“He’ll just have to write it all out again.” I exclaimed, Edward sat there and thought to himself for a while. When the teacher had finished writing out the notes again Edward ran up and took all the markers.

“See him write now.”

“Edward, you’re acting like Emmett.” I scolded, he gave a wide grin.

“Now I know why he does it so often, it’s great watching the reaction.” Mr. Johnson looked all over for the markers. The bell for lunch rang and I stood up.

“Where are we going now?”

“Lunch.” I explained, Edward walked with me to the corner of the hall way. When I stopped and leaned against the wall he paused.

“I thought we were going to lunch?”

“We are, but I have to wait for my friends. They get let out later than the other classes because their teacher is an idiot.” Edward looked at the door I pointed to.

“Uh… Kailyn. You’re not going to tell them about me are you?”

“Um… Yeah, why?” Edward looked around the hallway as he thought of words.

“You see, I just don’t want you to … be seen as crazy from this.”

“Why would I be seen as crazy?” I asked, he looked around again.

“Well, how many people do you know can see people you can’t?”

“One, well two now since I can see you and no one else can.”

“Oh, really? Who?” He crossed his arms and smiled, probably expecting me to lie.

“My friend Linda. You’ll get to see her when the next bell rings. She’s Bi polar, so sometimes she’ll see stuff. She talks about creepy things that jump out at her when she hasn’t taken her medication.”

“That doesn’t really count. Mostly because she is crazy.”

“Watch it buster, that’s my friend and if she found out that I talked to a guy who called her crazy she’d hunt you down. Trust me, she can be a very evil bitch if she wanted to.”

“Right, whatever.” He rolled his eyes and the second bell rang.

“Jacob, I said stop!” I knew that voice; A tall teenage girl with light brown hair walked out of the classroom.

“What bit you in the ass today?” Jacob asked, he was a little taller than her. His hair was also a light brown and he was very much a white boy.

“I don’t feel well. I didn’t sleep last night.” She grumbled; walking over to me she paused. “What’s wrong?”

“Nothing, why does something always have to be wrong?”

“Because something is always wrong with you.” She smiled; I glanced at Edward. He had his hands in his pockets and was acting like he wasn’t listening to our conversation.

“My dad burned the books yesterday.”

“The books, as in the almost-holy-grail-of-books books?” Linda gasped and practically passed out on the ground.

“Uh… yeah.” Linda and I were the most obsessed people ever about Twilight.

“Nice to know I have fans.” Edward said as he watched Jacob pull Linda off the floor.

“If she knew you where there she would be beyond embarrassed.” I whispered, he gave a shy smile and nodded.

“I bet she would.”

“What did you say?” Linda asked, I started walking and they followed.

“Uh… you should be embarrassed.”

“Kailyn, I’m always embarrassed.” Linda tripped and landed flat on her face. “See.” She moaned, holding her nose.

“Grate one Grace.” Jacob joked; Linda swung out and punched him hard in the arm. “Owww! You hit hard!”

“I can hit harder, what a demonstration?” She growled; Jacob backed away from her.

“No, I’m good with this bruise.” He rubbed his arm that was already turning red.
