A New Lie

Summary:
Twilight/HP crossover This is the sequel to A New Start but you don't have to read that to understand this. Hello! Have you ever had you boyfriend cheat on you, find out your parents are dead then find out that you aren’t who you thought you were for your entire life? All on the same day? Chances are you answer is no. Mine is yes. And adding Draco Malfoy into the mix doesn’t make a good time for me. My name is Hermione Granger.

Notes:
I do NOT own any twilight or harry potter characters or anything that is similar to either of those two books. Alice is my AWESOME beta for this story too and i need your opinion as to if i should continue the Alice Funnies from A New Start or not.

Chapter 2

“Malfoy,” I stated calmly.

“Mudblood,” he countered just as coolly as I sighed. He was still calling me a mudblood. I was used to it, but it still stung a bit.

“I am going to go visit my friends while you can stay here and prepare for the prefects meeting.” I instructed.

“Wait,” he started to say before I cut him off.

“No. I already memorized every guideline, planned for it, and obviously you haven’t, so study.” I commanded as I turned on my heel and walked away.

D.P.O.V.

I walked into the Heads cabin fully expecting Hermione Granger to be Head Girl. What I did not expect was how hot she looked in her ensemble. We greeted each other with the usual and then she left giving me instructions to study for the Prefect meeting. After she left all I could think about was her hair, that was straightened, and her sweet but commanding voice.

Why are you thinking about her like this? She’s a Mudblood Draco. Still... no, I can’t think of her that way.

H.P.O.V.

I found my friends, with Neville and Luna, fairly quickly, and sat down with a huff.

All I had to say was Malfoy before every single one of them understood my behavior.

“Well you could always hex him into oblivion.” Ron offered.

“Wait, what is the big deal? I mean it’s not like they have to share a room together or something. Don’t they just have to do patrols together?” Harry asked his voice becoming softer and softer as he noticed that every single one of us was looking at him like he was crazy.

“Have you been living under a rock for the past seven years or something?” Ginny asked in an accusing retort to her boyfriend, “The Head Girl and Boy share a common room and a bathroom.”

“Oh.” Was his simple response.

“Exactly. Well I have to get back to Sir Ferret to prepare for the prefect meeting.” I left the cabin in a midst of laughter at my new nickname for Malfoy.

I returned to the cabin to witness Malfoy actually studying the notes and guidelines like I had told him to. He looked up when I closed the door and said, “Don’t look so surprised Granger. I can follow directions besides I have a reputation to uphold to you know.” He then stood up and walked past leaving me stunned.

Draco Malfoy had actually listened to and followed a mudblood’s directions.

“Coming Granger?”

I didn’t respond but I snapped back to reality and walked past him to the meeting. It went without a hitch and soon I was back in my cabin reading while Draco smirked at me. Finally, I looked up to see why he looked like his face was frozen in a smirk to find his foot next to my upper thigh. I scooted as far away from the black shoe as possible and looked at the time.

I stood up and grabbed my school robes and raced down the hall to the bathroom to change because I had not noticed that I was running behind on my carefully planned out schedule. I calmed down and looked into the mirror after I had changed my clothes.

Over the summer my hair had become sleeker and manageable. I had grown to a nice 5”7’ with nice curves. My eyes had become a more chocolaty brown that could make anyone get lost in. I heard a knock and realized that this was the third time today that I had gone into a daydream as I returned to my cabin where I found Malfoy in the exact same position as before but in his school robes.

I looked at his patches: Head boy, Slytherin, Quidditch Captain. Three… wow, I thought to myself sarcastically. I sat as far away from his foot again and returned to my book.

“Do you ever do anything other then read?” the ferret asked.

“Yes I do.” I said thinking about my gymnastics team at home.

“What else do you do?”

“Well I am on the…wait why do you care?”

The train stopped cutting off any further conversation as we helped the first years to find the game keeper Hagrid.

Since I was one of the last people to find a carriage there weren’t any left so a couple of prefects and I had to wait for another carriage to arrive. It was a very chilly night and I was in no mood to try and find my cloak amidst my various belongings so I suffered in silence and shivers until a simple black cloak found its way to my shoulders. I turned around trying to find the owner of the cloak, but found no one.

“Hey Hermione, over here!” called a Hufflepuff prefect.

“Coming!” I yelled back as I gave one more glance over my shoulder and then headed over.
