Edward’s POV: (I know, but I just wanted to stay in his so lovely head)

I hate Emmett. I hope Rosalie hits him some more. I can’t believe that he did this to me. Bella was staring at me with the weirdest expression. She was confused, amused and a little scared.

I will never forgive Emmett for this. How am I going to explain this to Bella? I took off my pirate hat and held it in my hands, fidgeting. I was about to explain when Bella gave a huge smile and started to chuckle. She looked so beautiful it took my breath away.

“Um, Edward, honey? Do you want to explain something to me?” She tilted her head, put her hands on her hips, and raised an eyebrow, still chuckling softly. I couldn’t help it; she was just so damn beautiful!

I ran up to her and grabbed her, locked her in my strong grip and we landed on Esme’s white sofa. I moved to the side, so I wouldn’t crush her under my weight, and put my head on her chest, listening to her extremely rapid heartbeat.

I sighed contently, and looked up into her warm chocolate eyes. There were drops of blue paint everywhere, including her nose and all over her hair and clothes. She looked so amazing in blue…

“Well, like that ass Emmett said, they all dragged me off to a stupid ‘bachelor pad’ and they all dumped this paint on me and well, you don’t even want to know about the pirate hat.” I said, looking at her. She was so warm…and small…and beautiful…and perfect…and surprisingly very understanding.

“Aw, you got a bachelor party? That’s not fair! The only thing I got to do was planning and more planning. Wait—where there any girls at this little party?” She was eyeing my bare chest and I silently cursed Emmett again.

“Nope, Carlisle made sure of that.” I smiled and she smiled back, rolling her eyes. I got off of her and let her sit in my lap. She put her arms around my neck and I pulled her closer.

“So what was Rosalie talking about with the last time she had to scrub the paint off of Emmett?” She asked softly.

“Well, this paint is really hard to get off. He had a little too much fun a long time ago at a New Year’s party that I unfortunately had to see. Last time, I dodged the paint, but this time it was impossible. I’m sorry I’m getting paint all over you.” I sighed, blocking out the weird moaning coming from Emmett and Rosalie’s room upstairs.

“It’s ok, it looks like we both look good in blue.” We both laughed. It seemed like she was reading my mind, instead of the other way around.

“Yes, I should probably get into the shower, and start scrubbing.” For some reason she turned red, and started to shake her head no.

“What is it?” I asked softly. The blood was thrumming in her veins, and I was so anxious to hear why the beautiful, delicious color came to her face.

***Readers: it gets a little adult here so be warned! ***

“I-I guess I need to take a shower too…and if it saves time…” She didn’t finish her sentence. I was about to ask her what she was talking about, but then it dawned on me. She wanted to take a shower with me. I bit my lower lip.

What am I supposed to say? I want to…I really am just a man inside…and it’s not anything particularly dangerous, right? What could happen with a shower? I’m getting really good at controlling both human and vampire instincts.

I’ve never seen her with all her clothes off…but she’s never seen me either. What if she doesn’t like me? What if she figures that I’m not good enough for her? But we were going to be married soon, right? Right?

My thoughts jumped to Emmett’s saying: “100 year-old virgin”. I would still be a virgin right? I’m not going to be risky, but I’m not going to be stupid either. Man, I think too much.

I was brought out of my reverie when Bella let go of my neck and got out of my lap. She was still red in the face and she was about to walk away, embarrased because i took to long answering; but I caught her and pulled her into my bare chest. I hope she wasn’t too cold. I let go of her and held out my blue hand.

“Bella, will you take a shower with me?” I asked, looking into her eyes. She looked down at my hand and raised an eyebrow.

“You don’t have to, I was just-“ I interrupted her.

“Please?” I breathed onto her blue-splattered face, in an attempt to “dazzle” her, like she said on our first date. She nodded and took my hand. I walked her up the stairs slowly, to not seem too, um…eager.

“Edward?” She said after we reached the top of the stairs. I turned to her.

“Yes, love?” She swallowed and looked down at the floor. I could tell she was self-conscious also.

“Have you ever…um…you know?” she whispered slowly. I knew what she was asking me, and I felt awkward answering her.

“No. Shall we?” I said, gesturing to the bathroom. She nodded, and then surprisingly started to chuckle.

“What? Is something wrong?” I asked.

“No, it’s just that even in the most…interesting situations, you manage to be such a gentleman.” She giggled again nervously, as we stepped into my large bathroom.

I took off my shoes and turned around. I slowly pulled the curtain of the shower and turned it on for high pressure. I turned around and saw...
