"Would you like to hear my story, Bella? It doesn't have a happy ending—but which of ours does? If we had happy endings, we'd all be under gravestones now." Based off this quote from Eclipse...or what happens after this speech/monologue.
Well. This is going to be a oneshot, unless you guys want me to continue. If not, I'll stop here. But for those of you who have a thing for Emmett/Rosalie material, you might want to encourage the continuation of this story. Or if you have some strange fetish for me and my writing..skills.

I was almost in awe. Rosalie had never opened up to anyone like that before. Well, except for me, but that was irrelevant now. She had opened up to Bella. Bella was her weak spot and the only creature Rosalie had ever envied and loathed at the same time. But that, that was changing now.
Things around the Cullen household were only going to get better now. No danger of Jasper pulling a 'Bella's 18th Birthday' again. No chance of Rosalie turning on her. No threatening possibility of Edward leaving the coven. No wolves. No Volturi. No Victoria.
Just serenity and happiness......and sex. Can't forget the sex.
Rosalie hadn't moved in about...45 minutes and her stillness was...okay it was boring the hell out of me, but I would never say that...at least not to her. Finally, finally, she stirred.
"What's going to happen to us now?"
She lifted her head from my chest to meet my eyes. Her newly butterscotch-y irises glistened with her fear. I don't think I've seen her this afraid since the entire 'Edward pulls a Romeo' thing last year.
"I don't know Rose.."
"I think that's the scariest possibility," she whispered.
I sat up. but still cupped her face, supernaturally beautiful features marred by fear.
"We're going to be fine. I promise. Can't you see? Everything is going to be good around here again! We can-"
She held a finger up to my lips. She shook her head slowly, sadly.
"Emmett..Everything isn't going to go back to normal. Not just yet anyway."
The smile on my face fell. I took her finger from my lips, placing it back with the others.
"It is going to get better, Rose. The Volturi aren't going to kill Bella anymore. Victoria can't hurt her now that she's a vampire. Edward's not going to leave. Jasp-"
"Emmett, you're just in denial. The Volturi are going to try and recruit her, what with her power and all. Victoria's going to stike harder than ever. And-"
"I'm not in denial," I insisted.
She closed her eyes, breathing deeply.
"You are, love. It will be okay, just not now."
I shook my head vigorously.
"You're wrong. They don't need Bella, besides the fact she already told them no."
"Must be a total idiot to try and take on a coven of eight vampires by herself."
"That's just it, Emmett. She's not alone."
"What? Since when?" I demanded, mentally smacking myself for talking to her like that.
"Since mysterious killing-beasts started stringing murders along the streets of Seattle! She's gathering an army, changing those who will fight for her."
"We'll be fine.."
"Emmett. Stop denying the obvious. We're going to have to fight. Hard."
She stopped and wrapped her arms around my neck, tangling her long fingers in my thick curls, noses touching.
"Look, Emmett. I love you, but you have to stop denying the reality of this situation. Danger is coming, Emmett. Real danger. I can feel it and so can Alice. Some bad shit's about to go down here."
I rested my chin on her collar bone, arms tightening in a vice grip around her.
"Don't deny it, Emmett."
Her eyes bored into mine. Total sincerity rang through her tone.
You're wrong. I thought.
But, instead, I pressed my lips to hers, closing the space between us and the discussion.
