Edward's POV

I waited in the lobby, my head in my hands. I was so ashamed at how weak I had become. I wouldn't look or speak to anyone, not until I was sure she was really ok. Even though I couldn't read her mind, I could still hear her faint whimpers and slight screams. I felt terrible, like killing an angel. And I had done this. It was not Carlisle this time, but ME. How could I have lost control? But there was something different I wanted than just her blood. Something I had only felt threw the minds of humans, usually men, of course. I felt as though she had bewitched me without even knowing it.

"Edward? She has awoken." The voice was not that of one my own family members. The woman was much more delicate and soft spoken. I looked up and say a tall lady with long blonde hair, plum lips and silver eyes bent over in front of me. She laughed at my surprised expression.

"I do not drink blood at all. And by the way, my name is Precious. Isabella's elder sister." She held out her hand to me and without thinking about it, I took it eagerly. She smiled sweetly and straightened up her back. I stood up as well and after letting go of my hand, she turned and walked off in a different direction. I just stood there in that same spot and looked after her. She then soon came to an abrupt stop and turned her head to look at me.

"Are you coming?" She asked.

I just nodded and quickly walked over to her. She smiled again and then began walking in the same direction again. I followed silently behind her and thought about Isabella. She must have been in such pain. I put her in all that pain. I sighed and continued to keep to myself, not saying a word to Precious. She turned on her heel to face a white painted door and turned the knob open.

"This is Bella's room." She answered my silent question, and opened the door all the way. There sitting up on a huge bed with machines beside it was Bella. She looked to pale to be human, but of course her heart beat with a steady rhythm. She was talking to a nurse then looked over at us coming in. She smiled brightly, making Precious smile seem dull and plain. I smiled softly back at her and stepped forward to the bed. She patted on the empty part of the bed next to her, basically hinting me that she wished me to sit beside her. So I plopped down next to her on the bed side and grabbed the hand of hers that didn't have an IV hooked up in it. I began gently stoking it with my thumb, and then I felt her head lean against my shoulder.

"Bella, I-" She cut me off by barely pressing her lips to my throat. They felt so warm against my cold skin. I could feel a shiver go up my spine. At this she laughed and it sounded so lively. Like I hadn't heard someone laugh in years. She stretched up and kissed my cheek then leaned her head back against my shoulder.

"I don't want an explanation." She sighed. I looked over at the IV in her wrist and the machines that monitored her heart, her breathing. She must have been really sick.

"How long was I out?" She asked when I didn't answer.

"Umm...you were out for about a week." I told her, feeling worse know thinking about how I was the ONE who put her in a come for a week.

"Wow, it only seemed like a few seconds. I guess I was stuck in that spot." She replied. This made me feel even worse. She must have been so afraid. Well the look on her face was frightened and not trusting. I was interrupted out f my train of thought by her index finger and WHERE it was. She was pretending her index finer and middle finger were walking down my outer thigh. Her fingers stopped when they reached down to my knee then started waling back up to my hip. I coughed nervously and again she laughed at my response to her touch. She lifted her hand to grab my cheek and turned my head to look at her. She smiled sweetly at me then whispered, "I love you." I was quick to answer her.

"I love you too." I whispered back then kissed her gently. It was a soft kiss though her arms were wrapped around my neck, she didn't pull me closer. She was smart not to tempt me again. Our lips moved together, never parting, finding ways to stay clasped together. But she had to breathe, so she parted slowly and looked up at me with calm yet loving eyes. I sighed and kissed her forehead. After that her head was backing leaning on my shoulder. I let my cheek lean against her forehead softly. So sweet, so peaceful, such serenity, it was to just sit here in the loving silence with her. Not awkward but loving. I let my arm wrap around her shoulder and held her close. Her soft breathing against my throat, it made me a bit nervous but I kept quiet about that. Again she pressed her lips against the side of my neck, only this time I didn't shiver. So we just laid there, in each others arms. So sweet, so peaceful, such serenity...
