"Come to me my Daughter!" He waved his hand to me as he walked pasted us. "Yes, father?" I asked as I lifted my skirt and walked up the small staircase. "You have an invitation from the Cullen women. Alice, the youngest one." He spoke in a rush. Haley was following me but was stopped by Father. "Daughter, this is your party yet I find you here leaving your guest without a host. How could you?" He didn't give her time to answer and rushed her out the room. He floated to me and handed me a small white envelope. I flipped it open, being careful not to get a paper cut.

Dear Princess Isabella

You have been invited to the 19th birthday of my beloved younger sister Alice Brandon Cullen. It shall be held at the Cullen reservation and will be continuing until next Saturday. Alice shall be very obliged if you were to come and join us. You must meet me two days before Sunday at 1 am in the garden; you have 10 minuets to arrive ready. If not then I will pass on the message to Alice. See you soon princess.

E. A. M. Cullen

I read it over twice to get what the time was, if today was Friday and I am to meet Edward at 1 am two days before Sunday so... "Oh my goodness!" I screeched I only had 10 minuets to pack for the trip. I ran out the door automatically and ran back in to kiss the top of my father's head and run back out. I heard him chuckle before I reached the door. "Haley!" I yelled over and over as I ran to my room and began stuffing random things into my bag. "What do you want?" She asked and then helped me pack. By the time I was done I only had five minuets. Haley kissed my cheek and rushed me out the room, waving as I ran full speed down the halls.

I got there, gasping for air, and looked up at the god like creature looking down at me with a smile playing at his mouth. I walked up to him and curtsied, Edward bowing at the same time. I smiled brightly at him as he took my hand and walked me out of the garden and into the street. I stared at the cobble stoned side walk below me and thought about what we were going to do during this week. And I have never been to the United States!! I was excited about seeing it!

I peeked up at his face but he wasn't looking at me, he was glaring at the street. An aggravated look on his face appeared when he looked back down at me. My eyes flew down in embarrassment. We arrived in the middle where a few dark ales combined together. In front of us was a fancy silver car. Edward led me to the passenger's side and opened the door for me. I nodded politely and got in, picking up my dress. He was in the car at once and started the car. We were living in no time and I watched as my castle like home disappeared behind us.

"I hope you don't mind spending the first day with me, my family needed to hunt before you arrived." Edward explained quietly to me. "Of course I don't sir." I spoke in a whisper. He nodded and kept his eyes fixed to the road, as I stared at the passing scenery, counting the numbers of car that passed by us but giving up when I it was to dark to see any. I tried to listen for some, but when just one went by it sounded like three. I sighed and stared at the roof of the car.

I was about to fall asleep but I was interrupted by the sweet sound of Edwards voice. "Where here, at the airport princess." He shock my shoulder gently with one hand. I looked up and relived that I had fallen asleep. He helped me out and onto the plane where we sat in the back. I played with my chair, moving it up and down with the automatic switch, giggling when I pulled it up to hard and almost knocking me out of my seat.

Just then an attendant popped out of nowhere and greeted us with unnecessary kindness. "Can I help you with anything?" She asked us, her soprano voice full of sincere politeness. Well, she actually asked Edward, her back to me. Edward then shock his head and then gestured to me. She turned to me unwillingly and nodded to me. "No thank you." I said and smiled sweetly at her. I laid back and hummed a melody my mother sang me when I was a baby, there were words to it but I don't remember them.

The way I was held in her long and gentle arms of my mother. I slipped into the dream I had over and over again my whole life. I was four when the news reached me that my mother died and I was the only heir to my vampire father's throne. I cried my eyes out and my sister Diandra held me and told me everything was going to be okay. She died also, the only one of my ten sisters who loved me the way my mother did. She was gone. I felt the tears rise and spill out of my closed eyes. I squeezed them closed tighter and prayed for sleep...
