Bella

They say that emotions, feelings, die out after time. Some do. Some don’t. You see, something that’s real, it can last longer than forever, and, forever, is an awfully long time. They say time makes things stronger but can also weaken. It’s true, I know the feelings.

It’s been thirteen long years since my daughter could remember me clearly, without the pain inflicting her. Since the time she ran to save all our lives. She’s had her memories hidden away from her by that long lost Volturi member - but we watch her, make sure she’s safe no matter what.

Others have taken her in & by ‘others’ I mean humans. They care for her, but treat her with lies that she takes in. Her face, the face i watch from a distance, only gives away the slightest hint of how she doesn’t believe it at all. The truth is known to her now & flashes of her memories & nature are returning to the surface in waves of agony.

It’s heart-breaking to watch her go through it, knowing that we could all help, but being bewildered with the understanding that we need to be patient.

Like me, my daughter is strong, but weak when it comes to the ones she loves, and right now, the only ones she loves are the ones in her lost memories that come as dreams to her, us, her real family. Esme & Carlisle, Alice & Jasper, Emmet & Rosalie, Jacob & the pack, Edward & I, we protect her, love her & will do anything to get her back.

It’s been hard staying away but we’ve done well. When she needs me i know, and I’m always there for her. Unfortunately though, I’m only there behind the curtains, never physically there with her.

She knows we’re there, she knows that somewhere deep inside her she knows who we are but she’s too afraid of believing another thing that could hurt her. That I understand too. She feels us following her, waiting for her next move. She writes it down in a diary she's kept ever since the first sign on her 'un-humanity'.

Inside her she believes that this is only temporary & we both share each other’s impatience. My family- her family - we wait together on the outskirts but always close.

For now we wait for what Nessie's going to do next. Alice can see her trying to look for us - running away from home with absolutely no idea to where we are or if we're even real, only knowing she needs to get to Forks. So, when that night comes we'll show ourselves, go to her & never look back again.

My mind is going crazy with impatience.

So we wait, again, like we've been doing so for thirteen years. But if just a couple of days are what it takes to see Renesme's beautiful brown eyes light up when she sees us, then i will wait. We all will.

Soon, she'll be back in my arms with no secrets or lost memories pinching at her soul.
