Bound to You

The Cullen's have left Forks after Bella's eighteenth birthday because Edward wanted to protect her. They left her in harm's way, where Victoria found her all alone. Victoria left her for dead, but Victoria actually turned Isabella Swan into a blood-thirsty vampire. Since she hasn't been seen in years, everyone assumes she is dead, but when Jake sees Bella, he imprints and nearly loses himself. What will happen between the vampire and the werewolf, especially since Bella can't remember Jake?

"Of course," I told him as I moved to lay more against him, laying right beside him. "Oh yeah, I am so glad that you're going to have a bigger bed in Seattle. How do you sleep on this?"

Jacob just laughed. "Honestly, I wish I could answer that because I don't even know, Bella."

As I watched Jacob close his eyes from exhaustion, I smiled down at him, and I bit myself. Could I really handle being his? Vampires and werewolves were known to hate each other but he had imprinted on me. Jacob was so good to me and I couldn't see where our relationship would lead. I wasn't sure what I would do if Jake hurt me the same way Edward did, but I had a feeling that Jacob wouldn't let any harm come to me. After all, as Jacob said, I was bound to him.

I was in complete shock as I looked at Bella and back to the room. That had to be like the hugest bed I had ever seen, and I felt like a kid on Christmas. My God… my bed was probably a double back at home but this… it had to be a queen-sized or something.

"Holy fucking hell," I said in complete shock as I looked over at Bella and I bit down on my lower lip, shaking my head in shock. "I mean, wow, Bella. You didn't have to do this."

Bella laughed, shaking her head. "Yeah, no, I didn't do this. I wish I did, though. It was Kate. She remodeled each bedroom with huge ass beds since you all are so big."

"I may start to like her," I said with a smile on my face as I looked over at Bella and I pressed my face into her neck. Placing a sweet kiss there, I felt her shudder. "Thank you so much, Bells."

I grinned when I looked over at her, knowing that if she was even female that her cheeks would be pink and rosy from embarrassment. God, I really missed her as a human, but I was just glad that she wasn't dead. Those words Victoria had spat out to me had haunted me for the longest time.

I've come for what I was meant to do.

I had been so confused to what she had meant by then and it was something that I wasn't quite used to. Yeah, my life had been a mess, but now – I thought that it was so amazingly perfect. Well, it was almost perfect if Paul and Rachel could stop being complete selfish people. The world did not revolve around the two of them and only them.

"I know you hate shopping just as much as I do but I… I thought we could go shopping for items in your room?"

Hearing her words, I groaned, and I was literally going to say something when she pouted. Goodness, she was really beautiful, but she probably knew that. Who knew I would even be attracted to a vampire for that matter? I certainly hell didn't think so but I certainly was not complaining. How could I? Bella was the perfect woman for me. Although, we hadn't even gone on a date, and I wasn't exactly sure how she felt about the imprint.

"Aww, fuck Bells," I groaned as I looked to the bed with a grin. "I was thinking that we could –"

"You're not getting out of this, Jacob," Bella said with an airy hearty laugh as she looked over at me with a huge grin on her face. "You only have a bed, and well, you have needs… I am pretty sure of it."

I chuckled as I looked over at her, and I nodded my head. I knew there was no way that I was going to get out of the fact that I did need other things in the room. Wasn't it supposed to be me that was to spoil her? Then again, I could see Bella fighting with me if I didn't have to spoil her, while I went to the door.

"Fine, fine, I suppose we could go," I groaned in disgust as I looked over at her, giving her a small smile. "How about we go tomorrow afternoon?"

"No, we're going now."

The next thing I knew, I was being dragged out of the room and down the stairs. No member of the pack even tried to save me.

"Vampire girl is your nickname, Bells."

I turned my head to look over at Embry, who was grinning from ear to ear.

"Aww, why can't you just stick with Bella? I don't want to be classified by what I am," she frowned, pouting adorably as she crossed her arms over her chest. "What if I started calling you wolfboy?"

"But I'm not a boy, Bella," Embry pointedly stated as he pointed to the muscles in his biceps. "I'm a man, so it would be wolfman, Bells."

Bella turned to me with a grin. "Are you sure you two went to the same school together?"

"Hey, what's that supposed to mean?" Embry asked with a raised eyebrow when he looked at her. "I mean, you aren't calling me stupid?"

The next thing I heard was the front door being shut. Emily walked into the kitchen with the rest of the pack following her to see what she would be cooking. It was our first night here with no grownups or anything. It was just Sam, Emily, Quil, Embry, Jared, Seth, Leah, and myself that had moved into the house in Seattle. Yeah, Paul and the rest of the wolves were staying in La Push to keep an eye on things down there.

"Emily, Bella called me stupid."

Sam shook his head with a look at Embry. "Well, she didn't come out and tell me that, but –"

"Embry, here."

As Emily handed each one of the guys a muffin, leaving the kitchen, she handed Sam and me a bag that had muffins and little treats. I swear, I was every bit as spoiled as Sam was. Then again, Emily and Sam had taken me under their wing after Bella had disappeared for months.

"Well, I'll be back later."

I turned to Bella, who gave me a small smile before she walked out the back door. She had to feed to keep her sanity being around us werewolves, and well, Emily most of all. I knew she wouldn't hurt one of us, but it was hard for her. I couldn't even imagine what she went through by being around me.

"I have to ask before anyone does," Sam began as he glanced at me. "What's it like being bound to someone we're suppose to hate, Jake?"

"She's my imprint, Sam," I began as I sat in the chair at the table and I smiled when I saw a few wrapped up strawberry filled cookies. "It doesn't feel any different. She doesn't smell like vampires are supposed to smell like. I mean, I… uh, well, she smells like strawberries and lavender instead of that disturbing smell. When I see her, all negative thoughts go away. And the fact that she can stand up to Paul is something that makes me realize how glad I am to have her. I mean, what girl stands up to Paul and doesn't cry when he calls her a bitch?"

Emily's eyes widen as she was cutting the raw pieces of chicken into a bowl along the cutting board.

Sam chuckled as he shook his head when he led the two of us into the living room. "I have to say she's growing on me and the fact that she got in his face… yeah, no one does that and lives another day. He knows what would even happen if Bell was… well, terminated by Paul's hands."

I didn't like that image and I growled low in my throat, letting my head fall back when we sat down in the living room. "I'm just upset."

"What do you mean?"

"Rachel – she's been taking Paul's side over me. I basically kicked her to the curb," I mumbled under my breath and I shook my head, exhaustion written across my face. "I can't deal with her shit when she won't even back me up one time. I can't even turn to her for moral support. No, I have to get that from Emily or one of you guys. I don't mind Emily… that's not what I am saying, Sam. It's just –"

"Don't explain it. I understand. I mean, my father left my mom when I was young, so I can relate somehow," he said with a shrug, leaning forward while he ate his muffin. "I've realized that Bella keeps you calm and everyone likes her or they tolerate her."

"Embry and Jared gave her the nickname Vampire Girl," I chuckled as Sam laughed with me. "I actually have never felt this way for anyone before."

"Well, that's good. You can't be imprinting on all the girls," he teased with a grin. "How is she handling being around us, Jacob?"

"Honestly," I sighed as I looked out the window, watching Embry and Quil playing around on the front lawn. "I don't know but something's eating away at her. If I could guess, I think it has to do with the fact that she's the only vampire around."

Sam nodded his head. "Well, this would be a first time from what it seems."

I sighed. I had to do something to keep Bella happy, but I didn't know what that would mean. Did that mean I had to find the rest of the Cullens just to make her smile? No, that would be at the bottom of the list because they had hurt her leaving her out there alone and vulnerable.

"Jake and Sam, you might want to come outside. Paul and Rachel are here… and um, Bella doesn't look happy," Embry said as he opened the front door, standing there, and he frowned. "She's strong too. Quil and Jared can't hold her back any longer."

Before I knew it, Sam and me walked outside, and I sighed when I saw the situation. Rachel was standing behind Paul, who had a smug look on his face. Bella's face was hard, full of hatred, a grin on Paul's face. What the fuck just happened now?

"What the fuck?" I growled as I moved next to Bella, placing my hand on her shoulder, feeling her loosen her grip, causing Quil and Jared to step back. "What are you doing here? You're not welcomed here."

"What? Since when am I not welcomed?"

"Since you called Bella a bitch last week," I said with a glare as I wrapped my arm around Bella's waist, pulling her close. "You honestly think I want you here? This is Bella's home, and I am pretty sure she wouldn't want you here."

"I wouldn't be so sure about that, man," Embry said from behind Bella and me. "That's what the fight was about."

"What happened here?" I asked as I pointed from Bella and Paul.

Embry stepped forward, shooting a glare at Paul before he turned to look at me. "Well, Bella had just gotten back from her hunt when Paul asked her if she had just killed a human. And well, we all know that Bella's not a red-blooded vampire from what she told us about her eyes."

I nodded my head, allowing Embry to continue.

"Apparently, Bella still wanted Paul to move in, and had even invited Rachel. Well, that didn't turn out because had told him if he were going to live here, he should apologize to you," Embry continued, shaking his head. "And well, Paul doesn't think he should apologize for anything."

"I get it," I said, stopping Embry from continuing to what had happened, and I gave Bella's hand a squeeze, giving her a small smile before looking at Paul.

"Is there anything else that you need?"

When I heard Sam's voice – that dominating voice that everyone had to listen to, Paul's eyes widened. "You are seriously going to live here?"

"Yes, Paul. Bella hasn't done anything. If anyone has, it's you," Sam began, crossing his arms over his chest, and he looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "You've talked very rudely to Bella. She may be a vampire but she is also Jacob's imprintee. If you can't, the next step, I will have you patrolling a week and I'll make it as painful as you can only imagine. Now, if you are going to be angry like you normally are, you can leave."

Then, it began to rain, and Bella's voice couldn't have been any sweeter.

"Paul, I… I never asked to be what I am. I was involved with a vampire and he killed her mate. So, when the Cullen's left, I was vulnerable. I had no one to protect me from her and her wrath," Bella sighed as she bit down on her lower lip. "I honestly… miss being a human and it really annoys me to an ends meet when you complain about every thing. I mean, I can't even visit my parents because of what I am."

"Bella," Paul began but she held up her hand.

"Look, I don't want you to feel sorry for me, but I knew what I was doing when I got involved with Edward," she shrugged as she bit down on her bottom lip. "Your hatred towards me is going to make Rachel mad at you. I am inviting you to live here in my home. I'm not asking you to do anything but to reside with the rest of the wolves."

"She's being more lenient than you can ask for, Paul," Sam said with a nod as he walked under the porch where he couldn't get as wet. "Now, get your butt in here."

When Paul and Rachel followed everyone inside, I grabbed Bella's hand when she began to walk away, and I frowned when I saw the look on her face. I could see the pain in her eyes. Geez, this was going to be so hard.

"Jacob, we're going to –"

"I don't care. We need to talk," I whispered as I touched her cheek gently and I wrapped my arms around her waist. "I think we need to talk… about your fears."

At this point, I didn't care if I would smell like a wet dog. No, the only thing I cared about was making her happy, and that wouldn't happen if we didn't talk about Victoria or how Bella became a vampire. Yeah, we really had a lot to talk about even if I didn't want to talk about it.

"Jake, we don't have to."

"Yes, yes, we do, Bella," I said as I led her onto the wrap around porch, leading her to the bench, and I grabbed her hand, kissing her cold knuckles. "Please."

When she looked at me, she frowned, but she reluctantly nodded her head. "I just… hate being what I am, Jake. I like being with you. I really, really do, but none of you understand what the hell I am even going through. It's hard, Jake. You all are able to sleep, eat, dream, but me… I can't do a lot of the human capacities that y'all are capable of even doing…"

Goodness… Bella was broken.

"Please don't say you're sorry, Jake. I am so sick and tired of those words," she frowned as she looked at me and she bit her lip. "I really want to give us a shot but you're going to have to tolerate me, Jake. Being a vampire is something I did want with Edward but… now –"

"You hate it," I determined as I grabbed her hands in mine fully and I turned to look into her golden eyes.

"Yes, I really, really do, Jacob. I never thought that I could hate something but I do. I just wish I could experience half the qualities that you guys could. I mean, I do like that I can protect myself and be beautiful, but –"

"Bella, you've always been beautiful," I whispered against her ear as I placed a soft kiss there, kissing down to her collar bone of the exposed skin. "I am going to make you see that being a vampire won't be bad. I mean, we get to live eternity forever together."

When she smiled shyly when I looked at her, she slid a hand up into my dark, short locks, I grinned back at her. I honestly had no idea what I was going to do that being a vampire would have its benefits. Yeah, things were a bit awry for Bella, and I would do anything to make her smile and just happy.

"Are you two comin' or are you going to make out like horny teenagers?" Emily chided as she opened the door to reveal her standing at the entrance of the house with a silly smile. "I know you don't eat, Bella, but –"

"No, I can eat, but I just can never taste food nowadays," she shrugged when she stood up to her feet. "But I'll eat at least some of that pasta I saw you cooking earlier."

"Aw, she's a keeper, Jacob. I like her," Emily grinned as she turned around, walking back into the house, leaving the door cracked open.

"Do you talk to her about me?"

"Always, Bella. I always talk about you with Emily and Sam," I said with a wink, leading her into the house, and shutting it behind us when we walked towards the dining room.
