Painting On The Wall

A story about the Volturi doing what they can to pick up the pieces after their encounter with the Cullens (post - Breaking Dawn). Once the pieces are taken care of, do they have it in them to put it all back together, or will Aro's hobbie for collecting gifts become his own undoing? Follow the Volturi and the Cullens in this multi-POV story as they journey across the world discovering new allies while the loom of fate spins their threads. Who's lifeline gets cut short and who will remain victorious? Only your reviews will tell which ending I release.

All Chapters are subject to editing as the final out come of this story relys on you, the reader / reviewer. It is likely that in time I will have a companion piece to this with the alternate ending for sake of keeping the stories flow fluid. Please remember to R+R.

"After hearing the story of the Tikal coven, most everyones focus was directed towards the new comers. Jasper immediatly welcomed Peter and Charlotte and introduced them to those they didn't already know. I walked over to Carlisle's side with Bella and Nessie in tow. Carlisle was already up to speed on what the situation was with Joham and his daughters, but what really interested him was the man of science. The six of us; Carlisle, Bella, Nessie and myself accompanied Joham and his companion, Elizabeth, on a slow walk around the estates grounds while Joham told Carlisle and the rest of us of his creations of hybrids, different ventures, the avenues of science that has led him around the world, and his many experiments from the home of his island. But I suppose the things he told us that really apply to this story were his two latest developments.

"On a small desolate island off of the coast of Peru, - mad scientist - Joham spent his life coming up with hair-brained experiments to occupy his time. Upon hearing from his daughter Jennifer and learning of the demise of his son Nahuel and his aunt Huilen along with the captivity of his two other daughters, - Serena and Maysun - Joham ignored the Volturi's request to have him join their guard. Instead he pushed all other works aside and came up with a plan to create the philosophers stone in attempt to raise Nahuel and Huilen from their ashes.

"After some many nights of working with elemental compounds Joham's work failed him, eventually blowing up in his face, killing his son Henry and leaving him to put himself back together. Henry was his youngest child and apprentice with a fair mind for science, he was only twenty five years old and was the hybrid son - of whom no one knew - of his latest mate. What he didn't expect was the side effects it would have on him. He discovered that he could instead change the molecular formula of an element to create another by a simple touch and thought combination.

"In attemt to save the beautiful mind of Henry, he created another vampire, a beautiful woman by the name of Elizabeth. Joham stole Elizabeth away to the island and promptly transplanted Henry's brain into Elizabeth's body before turning her. The venom did what it was supposed to and secured the brain leaving the procedure relatively quick and simple. Elizabeth had a beautiful face but something was off once her transformation was nearing completion. Joham returned to the mainland to find himself a gorgeous body for the vampire he just created. The final result of his Frankenstein experiment was a stunning vampire with a beautiful face and the mind of the apprentice in his son, Henry. The molecular make up of this being along with the mind of his son gave this creation the ability to split into two beings. The loving compassionate being of a true mate and the wartorn monster she never wanted to be. Another gift Elizabeth gained was the power to merge molecularly with another being to become more powerful, as Henry's gift was much the same but was only able to do so with masses and not himself.

"Upon discovering this, Joham contacted his daughter Jennifer from the number she had called from before and planned to go get Serena and Maysun back from the Volturi. It was then that Jennifer informed her father of reaching out to her friend Renesmee for help in getting her sisters back; as her father had ignorantly refused this request and let her fend for herself when he was informed of their abduction. Jennifer told her father that there was already a force being assembled in Egypt to advance on the Volturi for their murdering of witnesses and current wrong doings around the world. To this great news, Joham left his island behind and met up with his daughter and the other assembled vampires posing to wage war against the Volturi, in Egypt where he just now reciently showed up.

"Alright girls, bed time." Jake and Quil said as they entered the study where we sat.

"Awe, but we wanna hear more." The children complained in unison.

"It's ok, we'll be here when you wake up and we can continue where we left off." Renesmee assured the girls. "Go on and I'll be right up to tuck you in."

As I picked them up off my lap I gave them each a kiss goodnight and sent them on their way for the evening.

"It seems like so long ago now dad." Renesmee said, her eyes still held looking back in the distance of another time.

"Almost fifteen years now love." With a hug to my daughter, I picked up the empty plates, cups and the half eatten bag of chips and left the study for the evening to go spend some time with my beautiful wife.
