Painting On The Wall

Summary:
A story about the Volturi doing what they can to pick up the pieces after their encounter with the Cullens (post - Breaking Dawn). Once the pieces are taken care of, do they have it in them to put it all back together, or will Aro's hobbie for collecting gifts become his own undoing? Follow the Volturi and the Cullens in this multi-POV story as they journey across the world discovering new allies while the loom of fate spins their threads. Who's lifeline gets cut short and who will remain victorious? Only your reviews will tell which ending I release.

Notes:
All Chapters are subject to editing as the final out come of this story relys on you, the reader / reviewer. It is likely that in time I will have a companion piece to this with the alternate ending for sake of keeping the stories flow fluid. Please remember to R+R.

"This next picture brings us back to Aro and his intentions to reclaim his dignity that he shamefully left behind on the battlefield as he walked away." Renesmee started, with a hardened scowl now present across her face, remembering what had happened just prior to this in the clearing not too far from their home in Forks. "Aro wanted to abolish the word of the Volturi's humiliating defeat from getting out, so he dispersed his guard to track down the witnesses that fled them, forcing the vampires to join them or die. There were many murders at the hands of the Volturi in their attemp to clean up their self-made mess. Aro had another issue to take care of however. He wanted to meet with this scientist, Joham, who was running around creating half human, half vampire hybrids. Upon Demetri's return to Aro unsuccessfully able to track down Alistair, - the one vampire who knew how not to be found -, Aro had Demetri continue keep tabs on Nahuel before continuing on his next journey. This time he was smart enough to leave the capable Jane in charge and to go with her, was her brother Alec as well as Felix and Demetri.

"Aro was happy with his reciently aquired numbers he gained from the few witnesses that obliged to server him, but it still wasnt enough. After some careful thought, he sent out the guard on a daunting mission. Jane, Alec Felix and Demetri were to go to Tibet next.

"Across the Mediterranean Sea and over the rough terrain of Albania and Greece the foursome made their way across the deserts of the middle-east and up some of the largest and coldest mountains in the world to reach the ancient and holy city of Tibet. The guard did their homework studying these people as Aro wanted only the best. Jane watched from a distance under cover of the darkness as she studied a class of monks meditating, training and praying.

"The class moved together as they trained. Ten men with shaved heads in robes of blood-red and all moving as a single unit. Synchronized. Smooth and even fluid-type motions while another guided them from the head of the lush outdoor garden. This man was much the same as the others moving in syncrisity. Though his robes were the same blood-red as his students, this mans had a yellow marking on the chest symbolizing his leadership. He also appeared to be much older by the length and lack of color in his facial hair and the obvious wrinkles that scattered his withered form.

"As they finished the training with a prayer, the monks got up from their bamboo-straw mats and slipped on their woodblock shoes before heading back into their quarters for the evening. This was the night that the guard would make their move and stow away as many of these warriors as possible into the forests of the vast mountians below, under the secrecy from all but the stars.

"By the time the sun broke over the city of Tibet, the four of them managed to get all eleven men out of the city walls without so much as a sound and now the red robed men lay lined up in a row on the floor of an old abandoned cabin deep in the foot hills of the mountain. To look upon these men, they lay there, eyes closed, bodies still and their hearts at a slightly elevated rhythm, but nothing seemingly out of the ordinary. However on the inside they would have been experiencing the most excruciating burning sensations, as their souls would twist and contort and waste away as the venom spread throughout their bodies. Here the monks lay for three days until their transformation was complete.

"Once the guard proceeded from the delapitated confines of the old cabin, they moved back towards home stopping to feed along the way only at old farms and on unlucky travellers they came across along the rough beaten path of a road. It was a slower trip back for them now. Disobedeance cost a number of the newborns their immortality but the others quickly got the picture and turned inside themselves for peace to the burning thirst that was driving them mad. Time passed and after another month the guard returned home to Volterra to meet a very pleased Aro.

"Aro sent the six remaining monks and their lama (master) to go remain in the solitude of their given rooms. They needed to feed and grow strong, but first came their training."

After hearing all of this it came to me. "How do you know all this?" I questioned my daughter.

"You remember when Elizabeth and me fused?" Renesmee replied with a smirk spread across her face.

"Ya, of course, but what are you saying?"

"Lets just say I had my eyes open dad.. I was highly enlightened." Her grin grew wider with a glint in her eye.

"In that case will you stay and help me tell the story?"

"Sure, but not right now. The boys should be here shortly with Leah and Claire, I over heard Jake say that they called. They pulled of the i-5 and are headed past Bakersfield now. He's got the steak pit goin', dinner should be ready by the time they get here and I have to feed this lil' monster." Renesmee said, as Samantha shot her a glare and attacked her mother in a playful lil' monster type of way.
