I am officially the worst man to ever be on this planet. Not only did I break my wedding vows but I hurt Lilly. I dressed and reluctantly drove home, slower than usual. With my head down I didn’t even acknowledge Esmes’ existence I just walked straight to my study and shut myself in there. It didn’t take long for Edward to appear. His face told me he knew exactly what happened. “Dad. How could you do that to Mom?”

“I didn’t plan it Edward. It just happened. Does she know?”

“No. The others are hunting. You usually have more control than that. It will destroy her when she finds out.”

“And how will she find out?!” I snap at him

“Because you will tell her. Or I will.” he responded calm

“Edward it was a moment of weakness. It will not be repeated.”

“She still deserves to know, Dad. She loves and trusts you.”

I sigh and nod. How was I going to tell her? My wife of so many years. It’s going to be hard.
