The feeling of rejection washed through me. I know he has a wife but I still felt rejected. Our moment of spontaneous passion was one of the best moments of my life and he treated it like nothing. That stung. The fact he looked so upset afterwards. I had no idea where I was driving to but I wanted to get away. To get out of Forks and to get away from the man who broke my heart. No he didn’t break it. He ripped it out my chest, pulverised it, put it back together, cut it to shreds and then put it in a mincer. My chest ached with the pain he had caused me. Why couldn’t he feel the way I did?! It was so frustrating and it hurt! After hours of driving I reached another sleepy. I pulled into a motel and stayed there for the night and drowned myself in tears.
