I sobbed. Sobbed so hard! I didn’t want this! I never wanted this! Esmes’ attitude certainly didn’t help. There was a soft knock at my door. “Come in.” Bella walked in and sat on the end of the bed, smiling. “Scary, huh?” I nod at her. “It’ll be okay. I was human. Edward was a vampire. I got pregnant. Now we’re all happy. Don’t be scared.” She brushes a few tears from my face. “But Edward didn’t have a family. You didn’t get pregnant from making the wrong decision with the wrong guy.” I take full responsibility for that night. If I had have stayed home and not gone to work, completely vulnerable, then maybe this mess wouldn’t have happened. Many would choose to abort the child in this situation (who am I kidding how many girls get into a situation where she gets pregnant from a vampire doctor and ends up moving in with his vampire family?!) but abortion, in my eyes, is totally wrong! I would never consider it. Before Bella left she told me one thing; “It will get better.” Or totally wrong.
