I felt awful about splitting Carlisle and Esme up. Lizzie is funny though. I helped her ‘glitterize’ Edward’s room and giggled with her when he came back and I swear a vein popped in his forehead. Back to the couch. I had to drink human blood. Yuck! But it kept us both healthy and strong and that’s what’s important. “Carlisle.” He looked at me after a while. “Yes, Lilly?” “I’m sorry.” I give him a tight hug (well as tight as I can I mean seriously I have a beach ball for a stomach!) He hugs me back. “It’s okay, Lilly. It’s not your fault.” I smile against him but my smile fades when I fell liquid gush out of me. “Carlisle, I think my water just broke.” My knees buckle and things blur out. I can feel Carlisle’s arms around me, holding me up. He was shouting things at the others. Next thing I know I’m on an operating table. My eyes are only staying open from my sheer willpower. I see Carlisle lift a tiny baby out of me and that’s the last thing I saw. Now there’s nothing. Just black. Darkness.
