After bumping into Lilly I walk down to my office, she was swimming in my thoughts. A human. Only young. Maybe 25. Still I couldn't stop thinking about her. Part of me thinks how dare she. But I realise it is in fact my fault for letting me feel this way. I try to get over her but then I see her and it all changes. Nothing distracts me from her. She is always in the back of my mind, always looking so, so beautiful. Maybe Esme wasn't the right choice for me? I mean I love her but over time I feel like we have drifted and no longer feel the same as we did all those decades ago. The way I feel about her is like no feeling I have ever felt. Ever. Again I push her to the back of my mind so I can concentrate on my patients.
