With a smile I see my patients out. It was just a mild burn, no need for a doctor so I got to treat them all by myself. I kind of like it, working by myself, gives me a sense of independence. I write my report and go into the ER to get a chart for Dr Cullen. There is a few amount of people so I just picked a man with a broken leg. I helped him hobble to a free room and buzz for Dr Cullen. He walked in and I swear my heart skipped a beat. “So, Mr McGregor, how did you break your leg?” he said always so polite. “I was working and fell.” Mr McGregor responded. “Hmmmm,” Carlisle said thoughtfully, “Your leg is a bit of a mess but don’t worry it won’t take long to fix.” He turned to me and said something that shocked me. “Would you like to treat him, Lilly?” I looked at him, in shock. Dr Cullen asked me to sort out a patient of his. Me! “Umm, s-sure.” I quickly straighten his leg and put it in a cast and waits for it to set. “In 6 weeks time it will be so much better. Just don’t get it wet” I said to the man with a smile and handed him some crutches. After he hobbled out I turned to Carlisle. “So…,” I began, “How did I do?”

“Very well Lilly.” he smiled at him. The most dazzling smile that simply made my heart melt.
