Dusk til Dawn

( Bella's POV)

It's been two weeks since the party, finals were over and I was just hanging out in my dorm, playing my guitar. Then there was a knock on the door. I got up and opened the door. There stood Edward Cullen.

" Hey, what's up?", we had become close friends in the past two weeks.

" I just wanted to stop by. I didn't know you could play the guitar.", Edward walked past me and sat down in a chair. I grabbed my guitar and put it on the stand, when I turned around Edward was right in my face. He smiled then kissed me, for some reason I kissed him back. Before I knew it we were both on my Bed.

I woke up the next morning and Edward was laying next to me with a smile on his face. I felt horrible.

" I just cheated on my boyfriend.", I sighed.

" Well, I cheated on my girlfriend.", he countered, trying to make me feel better.

Over the next three months Edward and I had privat " Meetings". That's when my whole life stopped. There was a knock on the door and when I opened it, there was a very angry Jacob.

" Jake, what's wrong?", I had never seen him like this.

" Just answer me this, Are you cheating on me with Edward Cullen?", He growled.

" Jake, I'm sorry. I don't know why I did it, please forgive me.", I begged, crying.

" How long?", he asked, he had tears rolling down his face.

" What?", I was confused.

" How long have you been cheating on me?", he snapped.

" Three months, I'm so sorry Jake.", I tried to grab his hand. He pulled it away.

" I loved you Bella! Wasn't I enough?", he cried.

" Yes Jake, you were. I don't know why I did it. I am so sorry.", I sobbed.

" Save your sorries for some one who cares, you- you hurt me enough. We are over! Don't ever call me again. Goodbye Isabella.", he stormed out of my room with tear stains on his cheeks.

I pulled out my phone and text Edward,

We need to talk. Come over now.- B

Alright, see you in a few, - E

I had to break it off with him. I felt like a monster, I couldn't be myself around Edward. There was a knock on my door and Edward was standing there smiling until he saw I had been crying.

" Bella! Whats wrong?", he asked alarmed, pulling me into a hug. I pushed away then looked up at him.

" We can't be together anymore. I'm sorry.", I cried.

" Why Bella?", he asked.

" Jake found out, I broke his heart. I don't want to be with anyone right now.", I said.

" No, listen Bella. I love you! I love you with all my heart, I would do anything to be with you.", he cried. I pushed him out the door.

" I'm going home, back to washington, you can still call me if you want. I'm going to start packing my stuff now.", I was talking more to myself than to Edward. I closed the door and started packing.
