You captured Jacob so well with his reaction to being told Bella just got done punching the girl who had started the rumor she was pregnant.  That was so Jacob.  I loved it.  Great work

Okay, I read this a really really really long time ago before I even had an account (thus explaining why I hadn't reviewed it)

This was so funny! I really love the stories that don't really have a big plot, they're just an exploration of littler things. (you know, no bloodthirsty vampires, no rabid werewolves, no witches...) This was a really sweet and funny story, very in character, and with just enough fluff! (and I loved Bella punching Lauren!!)

Ah, well thanks for reviewing now that you have an account!

It's true, this story doesn't really have much of a plot ... but I had this mental image of Mike Newton spotting Bella's ring before she announced the engagement and having a small freak-out. And it was based on that scene alone that I wrote this story. The idea of punching Lauren came later, but was extremely gratifying to write! ;)

Anyway, I'm so glad you enjoyed the story -- fluff and all. It was lots of fun to write.
