Okay, really- this is my profile, right? So let's do this. My way. >:)
I'm a poet. I'm not emo or melodramatic or overly sensitive. I'm just cultured with passions that exceed the ability to close off my sensitivity. Makes sense, no? ;) This is as far as the "sense" part goes. Right now, I'm not going for arrogance or selfish indulgence.. or even blind stand-off-ish-ness. Nope, I'm a normal Twilight-y girl with expectations Stephenie Meyer can't even begin to touch. Oh, wait. My bad, she actually has touched it. She raised the bar with Breaking Dawn, in fact. *insert evil smiley* For all you BD haters, don't be hatin'. I mean that in a totally non-threatening way.. Breaking Dawn was incredible to me. Stephenie took some of the rare, but exceptional plot twists rolling around in the fandom and perfected it... Alright, well, it wasn't perfection. But it was pretty darn close, dang it.
The characters that have developed throughout the series have been dynamic and have created so much more for the Twilight Saga. I'm proud to say I'm all Team Switzerland on this one, guys. Couldn't choose, not really anyway.. I absolutely adore Edward and Jacob (mind you, the fictional Eddie. NOT Rob Pattinson..). I LOVE Renesmee and all those other half-breeds out there. They rock my socks. Seriously. Honestly, though? If I had to choose between.. Scratch that, if I had the wondrous opportunity of choosing between turning into a vampire or phasing into a wolf for all eternity, I'd choose phasing. Ten times over. Believe it, you guys.. I'm STILL Switzerland, any way you slice and dice it.. Edward's just too good for his own good.
So, I've mention I like poetry, right? No? Ah well, here we go ;D
I'm a poet of sorts with the attention span of a gold fish.. a baby goldfish. Don't judge me by it, I hate judgers. I like pie, though. That stuff's good. And dragons.. But that's for another bio re-doing, another time. Anyhoo, I write about anything and everything that crosses my mind. It doesn't matter when or where, but when an idea tumbles into my head, I usually get it down. I started writing when I was a kid (yeah, yeah, I'm not so old right now :P) and have stuck with it ever since. I literally breathe this stuff, it's intoxicating. And addicting. And life-changing. And- back to the subject at hand.. As much as I write, I read even more. I've never once heard of a passionate author that's written more than they've read. It's.. just... Wrong. Plain as that. I love the classics, especially the works of Poe and Emily Dickenson. Their minds are so twisted and brilliant- and I say are because I am a firm believer of living on through words- and through their life experiences, they've managed to capture the many aspects of humanity. Classic and intelligent. It makes for the best entertainment and motivation.. I also am a HUGE Pendragon and Ellen Hopkins fan. Ellen Hopkins is a dark, mystical soul that knows no boundary, I swear. The guy behind Pendragon, DJ MacHale, justifies stomach-lurching plot twists with humor so right, it can only be described as genius. Yeah. I do have my corny moments :D I also love the Inheritance Cycle, The Blue Bloods, The Vampire Academy, The Artemis Fowl Series, To Kill A Mockingbird, Annabel Lee, Incantation, and a few other great works. Oh! And the Twilight Saga. I've mentioned that, right?
I also mentioned I was a normal TwiHard before, and that entitles favorite movies and T.V. shows.. Which were EXTREMELY hard to pick. So, to make this easier for us, you and I, I'll list them:
1) Pirates of the Caribbean. All of 'em.
2) Eagle Eye. Corruption will be the downfall of us all.. Whoa, that was kinda deep. O_o
3) The Bourne Trilogy. What can I say? Excellent stuff.
4) TRANSFORMERS 1&2!!!!! Yeah. EXCEPTIONAL!!!!!! You really need to see both movies. It's the best!
5) Sweeney Todd. Pure, wrong, gross, twisted-ness. Yum. ;)
1) Lie to Me. Aha, try and lie to the main guy, he's good.
2) Smallville. The lead character is... *sigh*
3) Heroes. I started from the first season and have been hooked ever since :D
4) Hell's Kitchen. Chef Ramsey is a fun guy, although I wouldn't be caught dead in his kitchen.
5) So You Think You Can Dance. It's my favorite reality show.. The Dances are usually just sensational, it's wonderful :)
If you've stuck with me thus far, it's only fair I go onto music.. But the list is so long, I forgot maybe half of the insane artists and DJ's I like. Proceed at your own caution, guys..
Here's to music, then! I have tracks ranging from country to scremo and it ROCKS :P Some favs include Escape the Fate, Maroon Five, Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson, Vitamin String Quartet, Carrie Underwood, Kenny Rogers, Fall Out Boy, Panic! At the Disco (yeah, they removed the '!', but I loved it), Taylor Swift, Linkin Park, the Jonas Brothers xD, The Veronicas, V Factory, Beyoncé, Fort Minor, Black Eye Peas, Adam Lambert, Nickelback, The Used, Kristina DeBarge, Keri Hilson, Katy Perry, Kate De Luna, Chris Daughtry, Bowling For Soup, Nirvana, Guns and Roses, Poison, AC/DC, Lady Gaga, Céline Dion, 3 Doors Down, Billy Idol, Tim McGraw, ABBA (lol, yup, I so went there), Inxs, Jordin Sparks, Shakira, Flo Rida, Akon, Aqua, Jason Nevins (my favorite DJ), Hinder, Enya, Cascada, Bon Jovi, Boys Like Girls, Cobra Starship, Evanescence, Finger Eleven, Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Pink, David Cook, No Doubt, Coro, Alicia Keys, Enrique Iglesias, Coldplay, Phil Collins, U2, Yellowcard, Cher, One Republic, Timberland, Nelly Furtado, Ciara, DJ Sammy, Laura Branigan, Conjour One, Enur, and a whole lot more! Tired? No? Awesome >:)
So one thing you've noticed about me is the double dots I love to abuse, such as 'I'm going to.. abuse double dots'. Three dots can become overrated in my eyes, and I love to be rule breaker when it's convenient. I'm usually pretty good when it comes to grammar, but being a spontaneous poet has taught me to write my own rules and become a hard-core deviant (if you can call this hard-core). (;
Oh, and sarcasm. I love that.. Although, I probably should use it more often. It's the glue that keeps me together on a rainy day, you see.
