"Parents, do not let your daughters read New Moon. And if they absolutely must date a monster, encourage them to go out with a nice zombie. At least he'll be interested in her for her brains."
-- Stephen Colbert

I'm a 20-something TV news producer rocking out in the Pacific Northwest. I used to write fanfiction for The X-Files when I was in high school. Then I discovered the Twilight books and this website and was inspired to start writing once again. Besides writing my own stories, I also beta read for a few other writers here. I've also recently discovered the joy of making story banners and have found they are an excellent way to waste time when battling writer's block. Stop by my BLOG! www.kaylaariev.wordpress.com I post updates on what I'm working on there, as well as sneak peeks at some of my works-in-progress. Feel free to add me as a friend. I am also a staff member at the website Novel Novice Twilight -- we are doing amazing work there, not only tracking up-to-the-minute Twilight news, but also engaging readers and fans with a variety of projects. We even feature monthly fan fiction contests, which I help manage and judge. Come check us out:
