Marauder by Midnight
I recently joined the Twilight Archives on June 28, 2007 and began immediately on a plot bunny I had. I am no newbie at fanfiction. I have been writing fanfiction since 2003, first for Lord of the Rings then for Harry Potter and finally Twilight. You may recognize my penname from Mugglenet Fan Fiction, a site which uses the same format and which I am currently a moderator at (for more than 20 months). I support: About life on the computer: I don't use the computer for much else other than reading, writing, chatting, Facebooking, making banners, and betaing. However, I am staff at a wonderful site called Operation Sudan which advocates awareness and action regarding the Darfur genocide. Again, my writing time is divided between Twilight and Harry Potter. I pretty much live at the MuggleNet Fan Fiction beta forums. Here are the accounts, the ONLY accounts, I have regarding the fandoms:
MNFF / HPFF / FF.net / TA / MNFFBF / LJ I don't give out my Facebook account though unless I know you well; please do not ask. About life off the computer: I spend most of my time reading, watching TV, dancing, writing, and studying. My aspirations are not in the writing field so I'm focusing mainly on the last activity. However, I do know when to relax, and writing is just a hobby. I also spend time attending seminars regarding the situation in Darfur to better understand what exactly is going on, though I don't follow many current events as closely. About the Stories:Amen: Amen is the story that had hit me quite a while ago. I'd written it a few months before I published it here, but I let it sit on my computer for a long time because I wasn't sure about how others would react to my telling of Carlisle's transformation. Being slightly rusty on my Twilight canon, I needed to make sure everything was perfect for my debut into the Twilight community. Angel: Angel's plotline was born before Amen's but never wrote it down until after Amen. Carlisle's rescuing of Edward and all the other vampires reminds me of an angel snatching their lives from Death's grasp. Fairytale: Fairytale tells the story of Esme's transformation from Carlisle's point of view. It is titled as such to reveal Carlisle's deep longing for a happy ending to a listless and, as Edward puts it, damned life. Choice: Choice is a look into how Rosalie finds Emmett in the forest and her ability to come to love him despite her being a vampire. She struggles to come to terms with what she has become and on the way gains the love of another. A Vengeance: A Vengeance is Victoria's story, starting from when she meets the Cullens until her death. It will be my first chaptered Twilight work. Terms of Endearment: My cupcake challenge submission. Just a snippet of what happens when Edward tries to make his relationship with Bella more human. Awake: My first Twilight song-fic. The thoughts of Edward the last night he spends with Bella in New Moon before he leaves her. Sleep: Edward's transformation from Edward's point of view. Fair: Written for a challenge issued by twilightathon: a story that focuses on a conversation between Alice and Rosalie. I decided to look into a conversation that might have taken place immediately after Rosalie decides to tell Bella her story. Kissing a Fool: Written for a gift-exchange for heroinexchange. This is a story that was to be light and fluffy and that demonstrated the love between Bella and Edward, set in the meadow. Not usually my cup of tea, but it's always great to try new things.
Monster: Monster was written for the Minor Character Challenge on the Twilight Archives. It is about Bree's development as a character as well as her fierce but unrequited (and one-sided) love for Carlisle, who is the only one to show her any kindness. I'm very proud that it won second place, and I hope by reading this story, you, the reader, can also learn to appreciate "evil" characters. Of Taffeta and Lace: This is a light story written for twilightathon again. It shows how annoying Bella's indecisiveness can be when Alice is shopping for her wedding gown :) Not my best work, as I wrote it when I wasn't feeling particularly light and happy. Fly: Alice's transformation from her point of view, though it mainly focuses on her life before the change and what she does immediately after. In the works:Untitled: No, really, it is untitled for now. Rosalie's transformation incorporating Eclipse spoilers. Another untitled: Jacob finally imprints on someone. Lost: Jacob and Bella's developing relationship during New Moon from Jacob's point of view. Coming soon: Esme's transformation from Esme's point of view. Emmett's transformation from Emmett's point of view. Rosalie's transformation from Rosalie's point of view. Rosalie's transformation from Carlisle's point of view. Jasper's transformation. Point of view undecided. About my banners
Above banner by Kaiwynn as an award :) Thanks! I make my own banners. They're always 300x100 and feature the theme of the story. It may take as little as 5 minutes and as long as an hour for me to make one. I DO take banner requests and I DO make banners for others. My payment requirement is a review of substance on a story of mine, and I request that credit be given. Currently, I accept further banner requests. I have some requests still standing whose emails I have long lost. If you are one of the authors whom I have promised a banner for, please contact me again. review of substance (n): A review that contains something meaningful and helpful that indicates that you had indeed read the story. Not a review of substance: "Wow that was good!" Thank you, but I'd like a bit more than that. I'm not being picky, but I'd rather you say something that you liked or didn't like about the story. A review of substance: "It was a good story, but I think you could've worked a bit more on Jasper's character. He didn't seem to react the way I thought he would." Thanks, now I know exactly what to improve on. A review of substance: "That was a good story! I really liked how you used descriptions to help me paint a picture in my mind!" Thanks, now I know exactly what people like from me. You can contact me either on AIM, LJ, or email (use the contact button) with a request. I'll find a way to get back to you, and I will ask for pertinent details. About beta work I usually don't look for betas when I write, mostly because it takes a long time to find a beta I'm comfortable with and because I know I can get by without one. I beta my own work by finishing a story, leaving it on my computer, then coming back a day later to reread. I have betaed one story here, I believe. Currently, I am available for betaing short one-shots.

But she has James, and that is all that matters. When he is abruptly snatched from her life, she can't cope with the human emotion called pain and reacts with anger - anger toward one Isabella Swann. This is her vengeance. Author's note: The first chapter originally contained no spoilers. The first two chapters had been written before the launch of Eclipse. However, this story, from the first chapter onward, will contain one or two small spoilers. I had promised I wouldn't incorporate anything from the third novel, but from what I've read, I can't avoid it. I have NOT betrayed any plot detail from Eclipse -- merely used the few traits of Victoria we had learned. I personally had the book spoiled by a friend of mine, albeit on my request. I used everything I learned from her to write this story. Nothing directly out of Eclipse. I can assure you that what I came to know before even attaining the book did not affect the story in any way. Again, I reiterate: No plot has been given away. By the time this story reaches Eclipse - era, I doubt you will need to fear for spoilers. However, I feel that it is only fair that I warn you some aspect of Eclipse is spoiled in this story. Thank you for reading.|
