Hi, I'm blondie. I love writing, and I love showing it off. My one goal in fanfiction is to write stories that have never been written before.  I'm finally getting back into it after a crazy school year.  Most of what I write is short, and focuses in on a short period of time.

I have high standards.  If I don't like your story, I'll tell you.  I do try to give some specifics/constructive criticism.  Most AU's are very repetitive to me, Edward is not going to leave again, Bella doesn't leave him for Jacob, etc.  If you're going to write one of those, it had better be good.  Other turn offs are Cullen karaoke (with exceptions), movie night, Edward having an obsession with Buffy...most of these are so completely out there that it lacks humor, so if you're just getting started with writing, I wouldn't recommend starting with that. 

Other tips:  Get a beta, especially at first so you can tune your writing skills and grammar.  Try to write something that hasn't been written before, at least not a thousand million times :) If you wrote it once and looking back, you don't like the writing but do like the premise, take another swing at it.  Put stories that you can't find energy to continue on hold, and write whatever pops into you head.  Don't rely on reviews, and look through the top tens on the site for things to read (reading helps improve your writing).  Those authors are on there for a reason.

Anyhoo...

I love writing, but I have a very short attention span when it comes to stories. I'll get really, really excited and spend a lot of time working on it, and then I'll get sick of it.  No matter what, it will take me a while to finish a story.  I have several stories in the works right now, and there is no telling when they will be finished.  Titles are subject to change.

These are all tentative ideas, and sticking to a plan is not my forte.  Also, more stories are likely to pop up (One shots), because some ideas just get into my head and won't leave me alone!

While I am a big fan of the Twilight series, I prefer Harry Potter, simply because it is better writing, with more to it than just the plot and characters.  I believe that, of the two, Harry Potter is the series that will still be read 100 years or more from now.  However, I write Twilight fanfiction, and I do not write Harry Potter, so there's something for Twilight!

 

Of all the Twilight books, Breaking Dawn is my favorite, then Twilight, Eclipse, and New Moon.  While I only thought it was okay (and very frustrating) the first time, going through the second time you notice more wit, more plot, and a very good writing style.  Stephenie Meyer has matured as an author throughout the books.  If you didn't like it, try reading it a second time, and then state your opinion.  And please, don't flame here--it's a FANfiction site.

Well, that's all I have to say.  Like any author I appreciate reviews.
